Please dont commercialize kalga their are only 5-6 local house and 50 + guest house 😢 already way to much construction happening just let it be natural they way it is and trust me you haven't seen the plastic and rubbish all the tourist are doing here .
Good stuff! This brings back memories. One of the most chilled out villages in Himachal imho, Kalga is also close to Kheerganga, a beautiful 4 hour trek to the hot water springs up in the mountains.

Go visit Bunbuni the trek goes from Kalga village trust me Kheeraganga is just hype what you are going experience there is way ahead then any place you have been in Parvati valley
I went to Romani House in Kalga two weeks ago It was my first trip to the mountains ever and I miss every second of it. I miss the guest house, the people, the mountains, the view, the food and I miss Laila.
I can bet no other cafe / homestay can give you views like the holy cow cafe in kalya(coz it's location is at the top most part of jalga, just beside the river and cliff)
It’s good! Jio network is really good so helps if you have a dongle or hotspot. Some cafes have wifi too but can be irregular. A lot of people work from home so its not too hard though x
