Our names are Mitch & Ely, and we are two best friends that decided to make a channel that is a hub for seekers of all kinds. While reflecting on our time in school, we found that we were being taught various subjects and topics, say wildlife ecology or business economics or philosophy, but were never properly taught how to be good learners. We have found that the path to true wisdom is a continual process of seeking, and not one specific learning. If you are a seeker, you can learn your whole life with great enthusiasm and share that knowledge with those around you. Our channel is called Learn With Us: created by seekers, for seekers. In our videos, we find content that is worth your time and learn from it with you. Take a seat, open your mind, and get ready to enjoy the process of learning with us!

Hinduism is Science and a theism at the same time How? The Universe (Brahmand) consists of 4 things 1. Param atma (Energy) 2. Param tatva (Matter) 3. Maha kal (Time ) 4. Kal (Black space) (Today Science says Space and Time are not different they are different attributes of 1 thing and Hindus use 1 word "Kal") 1. Param Atma 2. Param tatva _Both are Param (Supreme)_ Hence equal Atma = Tatva Energy = Matter E = M E = MC^2 (After Solar formation) _Both are Immortal_ Both can not be created nor destroyed only translated ( or incarnated) into another form (or body ) _Both are Trinity_ *Energy* has trinity aspects 1. Creation +ve 2. Preservation = 3. Destruction -ve *Matter* has trinity aspects 1. Proton +ve 2. Neutron = 3. Electron -ve *Hindus* personified it as 1. Brahma +ve 2. Vishnu = 3. Shiva -ve ( _Anu Anu me Vishnu Vishnu hai_ _Kankar Kankar me shankar shankar hai_ ) Since Energy and matter are two 2 types of worship 1. Meditation (Yog-Connection between. atma and *Param atma* ) 2. Idol worshipping ( *Param tatva* ) Why idol worshipping? Hindus do the same rituals on the purchase of car bike house TV AC etc which we do before idols Bcoz A car can be moulded into an Idol of Natraja But no change in the composition of the proton neutron electron So Hindus are not only the idol worshipers but the worshipers of the entire spread of the Universe as the cosmic form of Lord Krsna(Brahm) And Singularity as Shivling (scroll 👇) *Functions of Param tatva* 1. Proton and neutron are always connected form Nucleous Brahma and Vishnu are also always connected through navel cord (Nabhi) Nucleous Hindi name is also "Nabhi" 2. Electrons always revolve in its ring Depicted as Shiva's dance in the ring of fire *Functions of Param Atma* 2. *Preservation* Vishnu the personification of preservative aspect of the Universe energy Or Simply Vishnu the preserver We all are manifestions of Lord Vishnu 1st ideal avatar of Vishnu was Fish 🐠 2nd ideal avatar of Vishnu was Turtle 🐢 Where he came on land Now in last 150 years Science said the same how life evolved and preservered on Earth 1. *Creation* The universe borns out of nothingness (0) and will merge back to nothingness(0) Nothingness is represented by 0 given by AryaBhat 0 is an ellipsoide shaped Shivling which banged and infinity came into being 1,0000000000000000...... And The Universe 3. *Destruction* Since the universe borns out of nothingness(0= *Bigbang* ) and will merge back to nothingness(0= *Big crunch* ) Shivling is the source of creation as well as destruction Shivling (0)has 2 functions So 2 types of worships 1. Creation (0) -Inner consiousness 2. Destruction (0) - surrounded by a disc ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UGx1bCZntWo.html 1. Creation (0) Pouring water on Shivling and placing shivling near water bodies symbol of cooling down it's energies so that it wont bang 2.Destruction (0) Bhasm Arti - raining down of human ashes on shivling shows destruction of human Now Science says there is a destructible energy *Black hole* and same way it destroys planets into dust and ultimately collapses into singularity (Shivling) Now *String theory* looked into quarks and found out vibrations at different frequencies These Vibrations are nothing but Eco of Om(Omkar) All Trinity principles start with vibration Om 1. Om Namo Brahma 2. Om Namo Narayanai 3. Om Namah Shivay All Hindu prayers start with OM Omkar(Eco of Om) represents the start of the physical universe So Param atma + Param tatva + Maha kal + Kal = Universe (Brahm or Brahmand) The highest manifestion of Brahm is *Para Brahm* Multiverse *Crux* In Vedas It's written Worship both 1. Sambhuti (Matter) 2. Asambhuti (Energy) Otherwise you will go into darkness While we worship Param tatva(Matter) more not Param atma (Energy) So Do Meditation for 1 hour every day with/without chanting Om It rejuvenates ur body and soul All sages did meditation, Ravan did meditation , Lord Buddha did meditation to empower themselves ____________________ *Summary* In the beginning there was nothingness(0) which banged Came *Adi Para Shakti* Name is self explanatory "1st energy beyond all existence" _Then_ Vibration of Om(String theory) _Came_ Proton (Brahma) _Hence_ Brahma is said to be the creator of the material universe _Then_ Trinity(3) to 33 kinds of things which consist of the entire universe _______________________ There are 2 things Worship 1.Param atma (Energy) 2.Param tatva (Matter) Now We all heard worship the Paramatma But What is param tatva(matter) Advance defination of matter Matter is "a highly concentrated form of energy" So There are 2 types of energies 1. Invisibile energy 2. Concentrated energy (Matter) Hence We can say that Param atma has 2 forms 1. Formless (Energy) 2. Formed (matter : Condense energy) In Short, Param atma is everywhere in manifested and in unmanifested form

Yes she is angry mother. But we all know even when mother is angry she loves us the most. I’m bengali from India n we Bengalis have a deep history of Kali worshipping. We r not a afraid of her fierce look. We also worship Maa Durga. When we see Maa Kali it reminds us of one thing mother. The divine Mother. U should read abt RamKrishna n how he expressed Kali Maa. (Maa is mother) He experienced her as a child. Naughty inquisitive but also wise.

Because it is different and unique to them. First, West never pictured god in feminine way. Second, in such dreadful appearance like Kali…they can’t imagine that a part of world considers her as a goddess, supreme loving mother. They are intrigued by her. Also shiva because both has that dreadful and unconventional look

For me Kali is the ferocious form of Mother Nature. Sakthi in our culture is energy so it is from a material world. Shiva is the consciousness or something beyond. To work in the material world we need both Shiva and Sakthi which is also present in each of us. For yogis who pursue Jnana yoga Shiva is the state of their existence away for the material bond, for people who do Karma yoga they need both Shiva and Sakthi.

Death culture... sounds like our Hindu or Sanatan culture. We celebrate Death actually. There are so many intricate death rituals attached to death, which is performed till about 13 days after death. There is a culture of choosing the time and way of death. By "way", I mean, which type of Samadhi and all those things. But these things have gotten rare in urban cities of India but are still prevalent in rural areas. And due to some highly accomplished Yogis, we are on our way back to retrieve the culture we lost during 1000 years of foreign invasions.

Very truly, in this culture the feminine is seen as equally important to the masculine. Here you will hear people saying Radha Krishna and not otherwise. It is not because Radha(the feminine) is superior or more important than Krishna (the masculine). It is because, without the feminine, the masculine is inert and static. If dynamism is to be brought the fire of the feminine is required. The masculine has all that is needed for creation but the power, the energy and the stimulus needed to start the process is brought by the feminine. So, in a way, even though the masculine might be all powerful but its very power is the feminine. See it in this way- You are a chef. You have all that you need for making the dish. The utensils, ingredients , recipie etc. But, unless you have the energy, the power, how come are you going to cook in the first place. The case is similar. If the masculine is the source of light, then the feminine is the light itself. If the masculine is the powerful one then the feminine is the power itself. If Shiva is the creator, operator and destroyer, then Shakti is the creation, operation, destruction and the very power needed for that to happen. You know positive only when you know what is negative. You know creator only when you know the creation. Without the creation there will be no question of the creator. Similarly, in order to experience Shiva you need to experience the play of the Mother🙏🔥❤️ Namaste🙏❤️❤️🙏

The Pull to Kali: Comedian Russel Brand said this in one of his podcast episodes: There seem to be an intrinsic need to adore and venerate the Feminine. When someone is purely materialistic with no sense of spirituality, this need finds expression in perverted ways: Objectifying the female form, and weird sexual stuff. Individual women, being only humans, cannot match up to the ideal of the Divine Feminine, just like men cannot match up to the ideal of the Divine Masculine (God the Father, for example). So, those who are on the spiritual path choose to channel that drive directly to a Divine form of Feminine, instead of directing it to individual female humans. So, why Kali? Why not a more pleasant form like Lakshmi or Gowri? In some ways, Kali is more accessible. As I said in a previous comment, She's not up in some Ivory Tower, she's down in the trenches, covered in blood. She's a non-judgmental form of divine, where as God the Father is absolutely judgmental, because the archetype of the Father is a judgmental archetype. If you can raise your mind over the dualities of pleasant and unpleasant, and approach Kali as an infant approaches its mother, like how a child do not judge its mother and only sees her as its everything, its world- She's readily available.

There is a difference between Kali and other commonly worshiped Goddesses, for Kali is one of the Wisdoms (Maha Vidya) while Lakshmi or Gowri are their micro-manifestations. Mahavidya are concepts and thus understanding them depends on the capability of the follower. Kali is widely popular than other Gods and Goddesses because it represents time and truth. Hence it has dimensions several times more than any deities. In peaceful form She is called "Bhadra", who gives auspices and ferocious form called "Rudra". Kali is not a killer goddess, she is just the consequence of one's karma. The terrible one's actions are, terrible the time one has to go through. Time/truth has no boundaries, it doesn't adorn to please the observer, or it doesn't show any bias. Kali is simply the nature as it is.

A little story that describes Kali's hanging tongue and Her trampling over Shiva - Now this is a very common theme in the events of Hindu history (I call it history and not mythology because for us, it's not a myth, but 100% truth; the evidences of which have however, drowned in the waves of time. There exist some proofs for some of the events like Ramayana and Mahabharata, which are comparatively recent, but many others can't be proved like the one I am gonna narrate now. But as someone has very correctly said - *Absence of evidence, is not the evidence of absence* ) - A demon does penance in order to please God {Bear it in mind that when I mention God, I mean one of the three major masculine manifestations of the Divine - Brahma (The Creator), Vishnu (The Sustainer) and Shiva (The Destroyer) ; or the feminine manifestation of the Divine - Adi Shakti, The Primordial Energy, which in turn manifests in myriad forms - in this case Kali} and ask for the boon of immortality. Since such a boon couldn't be granted as all living beings were mortal, the demon would ask for a boon which would make him almost invincible and hence almost immortal. Empowered by the boon, the demon would wreck havoc on earth or even directly attack Swarga (the Hindu heaven 😅) and drive the deities out of their kingdom. The deities would then approach God and ask them to relieve them and the creation from the distress { The words God and deity aren't synonymous actually. God is the all powerful Divine, while deities are created by God for carrying out certain functions. Eg : Indra, the deity of rain and thunder, who is also the King of Deities}. God would then either incarnate on earth or directly set out to destroy the demon. He/She would make a plan to slay the demon, by bypassing the boon granted and hence restore order in creation. Although this theme is common, there are certain exceptions to this general pattern at times. Anyway let's get into the main story : Once in the ancient past, demons were wrecking havoc on earth. So Adi Shakti, who is Shiva's consort, decided to put an end to the woes of the earth dwellers. So she appeared in the form of Kali and started beheading the demons and drinking their blood. The problem starts here. Although all the demons were eliminated, but Kali was so furious that she wasn't stopping the orgy of violence she had started. She started destroying the creation itself, for the protection of which she had assumed the fearsome form. The deities couldn't dare to come in the way of the blood-thirsty Cosmic Mother. So Shiva, her husband, decided to calm her down. He went and lied down in Kali's path and Kali, being blind in her fury didn't notice him and stepped upon him. Now in ancient times, a husband was considered God by her wife. This tradition had actually continued till the recent past, upto I think 5 - 6 generations from now. So you can often see depictions in which Parvati (A more benevolent manifestation of Adi Shakti) is shown worshipping Shiva in the form of a Linga, although She herself too is a direct manifestation of the Divine. So when Kali cast her eyes on the ground and realised that she had stepped on her husband, her God, she was filled with embarrassment. In her embarrassment, she stuck her tongue out. Ever since Kali is worshipped in the same form - black skin tone, a garland of skulls around her neck, a scimator in one hand, a severed head in other hand, a long sticking out tongue and one foot on Shiva ❤️❤️🙏🙏. Although Kali is portrayed in such a terrible imagery, her devotees worship her with love, not fear. Ramkrishna Paramhansa ( Swami Vivekananda's guru, a highly accomplished yogi and most importantly, one of the most ardent Kali devotees ever born, whose devotion was so intense that he even had visions of Kali, a divine opportunity which doesn't come to many even after penance of lifetimes) once said that Kali isn't black actually, she is without any colour. How you see her is a reflection of your own self, just like water in a river, which doesn't have any colour, but appears blue as it reflects the sky 🤗🤗. Phew, that was long right ? Hope you liked the story. Guys I think I atleast deserve a heart for this explanation, don't I 😉😉😁😁??

There is something to add and something to remove in your comment. Kali started drinking blood bcoz the demon was rekthabeej Who will born from his own blood And the wife considers husband as god stuff is actually introduced in 16/17 centuary... And that time like very ancient both husband and wife are equal... They considered themselves as the one divine.. And evry god.. I mean shiva pray on vishnu and vishnu pray on shiva tooo.. And parvathy did pray for him.. Thats to invoke shiva and tell her love.. So she did tapasya And vishnu himselfs meditate on paravathy.. And there is a saying that vishnus mohini rup is of thrilokasundari... Thats paravathy... Whever he take the rup of mohini vishnu invoke paravathy within him.... And if parvathy considered shiva god like the there will be no ardhanadeeshwara rup

So , on a high level , one of the mythological stories says - there once was this demon who asked Shiva a boon that he be invincible to any man , human or god or any beast. Shiva asks him, what about a woman and the demon laughs. His boon is granted as Shiva is non judgemental. Demon and god are same for him. But the demon now all powerful does what demons do i.e. unleashes cruelty and injustice on the world. There is misery all over. The demon finally chases the gods out of heaven. They all end up at the feet od Shiva asking him to save the world. Now Shiva says , no man can defeat him. They all turn to his wife then. That is how Shakti, a mother , the one who nurtured and loved her children had to pick up weapon. Her anger and her negative energy while facing the demon makes her dark , she looses control on her own self while she kills the demon and continues to destroy everything until later is calmed down by Shiva himself. He lies at her feet as she does her dance of destruction to claim back her calmer, motherly, beautiful self. The symbolism from the story and imagery says many different things. Kaali represents mother nature in her fiercest angry form and even now we human need to see that we cannot stand against nature when it takes that form.

So there is a quote by Osho that goes, "Conscious sleep is meditation and conscious death is Nirvana(Liberation from cycle of birth and death)". In Tamil Nadu, Southern India theres brilliant literature on spirituality that not many from outside the region know about. From one such magnum opus 'Thiruvasagam' I came across a description for Shiva that said" Turiyamum Erandha Sudar" that translates to "The light that has destroyed even the Turya state within itself". Came across Turya(actual self) in one of ur previous videos.

For the first time ever , I gave so much thought to the clip and the teacher , I have almost no idea what the guyz said . Normally even if the teachers were talking about something really deep , I would listen and then be a part of their (Mitch and Ely) conversation in my mind after every pause. But Allen Watts had me reeling 😬🤐 Even when they were discussing , I was busy chewing on certain things myself . Now I have to watch it all over again to catch up on their convos 😁😁

What she shares about the idea of death and consciousness is what scares me. For me the idea that forgetting myself after death is scary. I want to experience death as I have so far experienced life. To think that I would loose this identity of myself is what feels like real death. Maybe that's why people say the previous generations are living through us. Reincarnation in my sense somewhat points towards how after death we loose all the things we used to identify ourselves with but remember all the experience. And in next life we are like a blank canvas again. It's like i would never die but my identity would die over and over again. And maybe when you learn to separate yourself from this cycle and not be afraid of losing your identity is when you get moksha. Btw I love your videos, I've been binging on your videos for past few days and I must say you guys are amazing. Much love ❤️❤️❤️

My approach to death lately has been very much in line with the teachings of Ramana Maharshi (if they can be called teachings). It’s also taught by many others. There have been a few moments during my breath work where I realize the immensity of ‘I am not the body’ and it is scary and freeing! Because you realize the inevitable death of the body. It is freeing in a way
@deepukompara

@@ankitasabarr5841 Explore as in seek answers to the meaning of this existence. "Everything " is anything that is created from "Nothingness ". ..... "Nothingness " is a state of being in which anything that your mind conceive including time, space doesn't exist. "Everything " can also be seen as Maya (illusion) that manifests in nothingness. "Soul " is also just a manifestation. We just accepted someone's belief without asking where it too came from? About perfection and evolution from last video... Forgot to mention this fun fact below. Have a read. Anyone who seeks perfection in Life doesn't know Life. If Life was perfect, would it evolve? If you were perfect, would you evolve? Perfection means to unknowingly become deathlike. Death is always perfect. Have you seen anyone dying imperfectly? But everyone is living imperfectly. Anyone who is open to Life knows that perfection is not even a possibility. Whatever you do, there is still a better way to do it. Isn't it?

@@LearnWithUsOriginals Swami Vivekananda was Ramakrishna's main student back in the late 1800s and I guess he instructed Vivekananda to go to the US and spread Vedanta/Hinduism. So he started a bunch of temples/monasteries all around. And he named it after Ramakrishna so the members are member of the RamaKrishna Order of monks. I think the one in Manhattan is the first one. Vedanta Society of New York, there's lots and they all have RU-vid channels. Theres a big one in Calcutta, I think that's the main monestary but maybe it came after the one in New York. But the Order just mean like the lineage of monks that bases their teaching in Ramakrishnas teachings. I don't know the specifics on the differences between monestaries and stuff. Guess they have different initiation processes. Not sure if Sadhgurus ISHA counts as an Order/lineage of monks of if it's different since it's something he started. But yeah Order is just a name for a group of monks pretty much I guess It's like with Christians there's the Franciscans Order, Dominican Order, Jesuit Order, etc. It's just the name for a group of monks

There is a whole science of Sadhana in our culture. There are various kinds of Sadhanas which allows the Sadhaka to embody the deity on whom that particular Sadhana is based. There is Mantra Sadhana and there is Tantra Sadhana. But none of them should be approached without the necessary prerequisites and a Guru. Other than Kali we have other fierce manifestations of the Cosmic Mother like Tara, Chinnamasta, Dhumavati, Kalratri, Chamunda etc. All these manifestations though terrific looking are actually very loving too. These mothers love their children fiercely and will go to only lengths, even if it means licking off the blood of the enemies, to protect them. And then we have the Soumya( pleasant and enchanting) manifestations like Kamalatmika, Shodashi, Bhuvaneshwari, Uma, Parvati etc. These mothers are as good in the field of battle as their fierce forms. But, what separates them is their pleasing appearance and non-bloodlust nature. They symbolise the gentle side of the Universe unlike the others who represent the utterly chaotic side that stops at nothing and takes over everything. In case someone is interested in knowing more about the various manifestations of the Mother, he or she can learn about the Das(10) Mahavidyas, Astamatrikas(Asta means 8) and the Nav(9) Durgas. There is a lot...a lot....😌 Wish I could cover them all up here but I don't think there is enough space for that. So, period for now. Namaste🙏❤️

@@LearnWithUsOriginals The man in the profile pic is Shri Ram worshipped all across Bharatvarsha 🇮🇳 along with his consort Devi Sita. He is considered by many as an incarnation of God Vishnu, the preserver of the Universe. The epic Ramayana is based on him and his wife. Actually this man, and I want to proudly say that he was one of our ancestors, was at the peak of consciousness just like Krishna. Other than being a loving and devoted husband, he was a just, strong and ideal ruler who re-established Dharma. He was born in the Treta Yuga. I would ask you to refer to the Ramayana in order to know more about this man who along with his lovely Queen, Maa Sita, painted the ancient land of Bharatvarsha thousands of years ago with golden colours❤️❤️❤️🙏

@@LearnWithUsOriginals Shri Ram , incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Ramayan is all about him only. Indians celebrate Diwali bcoz on that day he returned to his kingdom with his wife Sita and brother Laxman after 14 years of exile, killing demon king Ravana and establishing Dharma.

I only fear death on thought of loosing opportunities to do things that I want to do now in this life and painful death because I fear pain. Why people fear about what’s next after death? That’s strange to me. How come this idea got into their mind? I mean that’s what death is…end of all feelings and emotions both in our mind and heart.
