I am accustomed to hearing this song sung by the Red Army Ensemble with reedy tenors and cavernous basses to take solo parts. Other versions by tenors, like Kenneth McKellar do not capture the essence of the song. Michael Theodore is brilliant. The excitement of the song is real and the voice is beautiful. Bravo
