The question asked by the man abt how Hollywood is able to do this in early 2000's - simple : its Budget & Exhibition. Until Baahubali series - there was no sense of Indian cinema or Indian market. Baahubali gave rise of Indian market which was until then in a way monopolised & exploited by Bollywood. Indians can spend even 1000crs on a film but the issue has always been the recovery. RRR has opened International markets & segments one never assumed could be penetrated before.
I dont think Nagi can answer anything reg VFX yet. He doesn't have enough knowledge or experience to do that. Let him feel comfortable directing films. Please stop thinking we can render everything on a laptop now. Absolutely not. I am working in VFX industry for over 15 years and every year and every advancement our computers got we always pushed the bar higher and the render times or sim times have not come down but the craving for higher quality sims and VFX is always exceeding more than the technology can deliver.
Kalki was definitely a high standard movie and definitely depicting our culture and scriptures and BG. But you did the same mistakes as other directors did in the past (ex. Dana veera sura karna.). Glorifying more on wrong people. Nag ashwin Can you pls refer vyasa bharata before making movie and can you discuss experts like chaganti garu or garikapaati or SSSarna. Don't misguide people with very limited knowledge in this generation of people. Hopefully you will correct the mistakes in the part2 with out losing authenticity of our scriptures. But it is lot better than sodhi purush.😂
