This movie kalki 2898-AD is a blend of futuristic dystopian sci-fi & History of ancient India, with the storyline of kalki, the tenth and final incarnation of Hindu god Lord Vishnu. This is based on kalki puranam, mahabharatham & vishnu puranam... The basic plot was based on Kalki the 10th avatar of vishnu will be born in kali yuga, the final of the 4 yugas, Krita, tretha, dwapara and kali yuga.....when the rivers will be dried up and there will be no food and water available for people, when the evil forces will be ruling, when the whole dharma will be out of the actual path, the 10th avatar kalki will be come and destroy the evil forces and re-establish the DHARMA.....the tall guy with white beard and 10 feet hight was Ashwatthama, one of the warrior of kauravas who participated in epic war KURUKSHETRA....he is having a curse given by Sri krishna one of the avatar of lord vishnu. The curse was Ashwatthama was then made to surrender the gem on his forehead and cursed by Krishna that he would roam in the forests for 3000 years with blood and pus oozing out of his injuries, and with no one to talk to. Ashwatthama then went to the forest never to be seen again. In the Mahabharata, Ashwatthama was cursed by Lord Krishna to live forever with a gaping wound on his forehead and to wander the Earth in a state of perpetual suffering and loneliness: The curse: Krishna removed a gem from Ashwatthama's forehead, stripping him of his powers and cursing him to wander the Earth for 3,000 years. The curse also ensured that blood would forever flow from the place where the gem was, and that he would be affected by all kinds of diseases. The cause: Ashwatthama was cursed for his attempt to kill Uttarā's unborn child. Ashwatthama, out of anger, refused to recall the Brahmastra and directed it to Uttarā's womb. Krishna intervened and saved the child. Ashwatthama's character: Ashwatthama was a Maharathi who fought on the side of the Kauravas against the Pandavas in the Kurukshetra War. He was known for his inhuman and cruel warrior skills. If you guys are reading the subtitles, you should have watched the movie in its original Language "Telugu". It has the original Lip sync and dialogue delivery makes a huge difference.

Because some RU-vidr understand that karna and ashwatthama are brothers instead of friends because of subtitles. And many parts are too complicated for them.

The Hindi version was the only one available on Netflix in the UK. We always do our best to watch in the OG language, but if it ain't available, then we're goosed I'm afraid.
