Storytelling for the first half is below average or even the introduction of characters lacks emotional connect. I don't feel pain for people who dont have any resources like water, food, oxygen etc in the future, ladies getting their womb sucked for the serum, or Deepika's pain as a mother. Even people dying didn't feel anything. I hope in the 2nd part, the Director improves such mistakes.

Some people go for mass movies as seeing the name of prabhas And when the expectations don't meet .. They starts yelling on social media...that first half is not good and so on... @@ayushbhatia7897 no I didn't expect the mass of any superstar. The first half was pure shit but second half was legendary. Prabhas is no more a superstar in my opinion, but South indians like his style so maybe. The comedy was shit, but I understand it's the first movie of the universe.
KALKI 2898 AD is not just a movie. It is going to be a KALKI CINEMATIC UNIVERSE. The entire movie on one side but last 40 minutes on another. It was one of the best cinematic experience ever

Yes. Even in Star Wars, Luke Skywalker deaging looked worse than this. But when the character returned, it was great, since they hired a RU-vidr who did deepfakes. And then it was perfect. I think in second part, they can do it again with a great budget. Because ofc there will be more Mahabharat scenes. Specially Karn and Ashwatthama.
His face and movements are too smooth. People get afraid to do "Less is more" thing. It would have felt like just sticking photos of him on face. As thought during last trailer. So, watching the movie is less fps and quality would probably be for the best.😂 But I'm sure they'll get it better later. Always excited to see young Amitabh. And it's not like they don't have references for his young face. There are hundreds of movies. If not his face, then whose!
I dunno why these RU-vidrs are extremely trying hard to bring down the movie … even when they talk good abt the movie …there is lot of condescending words mixed in it … this is the best visually epic movie till now in Indian cinema … sometimes I wonder they try to bring it down coz it’s not a khan movie but from someone who is from south… its a genuine cinematic universe and of course it takes time to build it up (1 st half) 🤦🏾🤦🏾
U didn't get it there are lot of lag in the movie and unwanted so called funny dialogues but interval and climax is the best everything else is just average
My first movie in the theater!! I am 22 years old.. And never saw a movie in the theater in my whole damn life!! Watched it in 3d .. Platinum seat!! I don't know why people in my town didn't liked the movie.. Many people were not even ready to watch it!! But kalki 2898 AD became one of my favorite movie.. Dude marvel level movie!! People like u don't deserve movies like this. Indian cinema is trying to give their audience something that people like you thought only Hollywood can give. Honestly I felt that the movie was mind blowing. Yes it was little slow at start but then it picked up. Disha's scene was important because a female character was necessary to accompany prabas to show how beautiful and mind-blowing the complex was. Like a fairy tail. Hence the greed of everyone wanting to go there. That was possible only with disha because because of they had a love past together
The first part was less boring than our real lives. The second half was great that someone made it. I'm just happy to see. (I even liked the first half, I know the value of everything.)
Dear Liberals & Seculars, when you watch Hollywood movies under Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Dune etc you just melt and don't have any negative points. So please, when Indian Cinema is bringing such epic movies you should support it and speak positive about it. The comedy worked well In Telugu everyone are happy he's back into his joyful mode maybe the comedy dialogues didn't translate due to rush in dialogues written by Riya mukharjee in last moment.but watch original version it's good. And the review seems similar to other reviewers same points but I saw Hindi version too and audience are enjoying the first half comedy so it's problem with u guys.but I've to agree prabhas is so secure actor even I'm not his fan to accept a character knowing that Amitabh had more screen time and presence for ashwathama character being a pan India star he accepted a movie and greenlighted a film to grant a budget of 600cr to nag Ashwin vision he'll have bigger role in part 2 if other actor would've been of that star image he would've asked for whole screentime for him only

My only problem with the movie was the overglorification of karna...the chariot scene shown in the end has no mention in any Mahabharata manuscript. Its only folklore..it made arjun look arrogant and karna like the ultimate hero..but in reality Krishna never spoke such words for karna...you can read gitapress authentic Mahabharata.i am not lying. THE SCENE SHOWN IN KALKI MOVIE FOR THE GREATNESS OF KARNA IS NOT TRUE ACTUALLY HE WAS NOT CLOSE TO ARJUNA IN ARCHERY NO I repeat NO This story is never mentioned in any of the authentic texts including-: Vyasa mahabharat BORI critical edition KMG or vivek's English translation. This incident happened only in the minds of some writers, directors and producers of TV serials. Mrityunjay book which is basically a biography of karna mentioned this which is an imagination. Some serials like Sootputra karna and Ramanand sagar's shri krishna had shown this cringe. What they show you-: They showed arjun pushing chariot of karn with the help of arrows for 10 meters while karna did it for 2 meters. Then krishna explained that he carries the whole weight of the universe and hanuman is also sitting there and karn was still able to push the chariot which makes him the greatest. Analysis-: ● How can an arrow push a chariot?? ● The measurement or length of chariot pushing is not definite. It is so inconsistent some says 2 steps,some says 2 meters, 2 kms, 2 inches, 2fts..etc If krishna carries the whole weight of the universe everytime, then ◆ How horses were pulling shri krishna's chariot i.e. the weight of the universe?? ◆ Why karna did not able to push abhimanyu chariot because abhi did not had any additional weight of krishna and lord Hanuman. ◆ How putana demon carried krishna i.e. weight of the universe? ◆ How krishna's friends were able to lift him i.e. weight of the universe in their shoulders ?? Krishna himself said in gita that he is the God. All the people, mountain, sea, trees, earth and the whole universe resides in him. God's power is infinite. He is the Lord of the universe. All the energy of the universe is included in him. Our energy, strength and power is also included in him. Can a person of same universe be able to push him? Can a person of same universe be overpower him at any instant? Can your finger nails push your whole body??? Can a brick push a whole wall in which the brick is also a part? Now, let's analyse that incident-: Karna pushed arjun's chariot with krishna carrying the weight of the universe means karna had more power than krishna at that particular moment. Means karna was more powerful than the almighty!!! Then krishna telling himself god must be a lie!! Karna is the god perhaps as per the great ramanand sagar. He should be worshipped, why krishna??? Then how did ramanand sagar's god karna faced defeats in the hands of satyaki, bheem, abhimanyu, arjun and ghatotkach?? If karna was more powerful than almighty, then how did he lost to arjun and couldn't pushed the latter's chariot in virat battle because krishna wasn't present on arjun's chariot at that time. If karna had that much of power to push krishna, then all other warriors were nothing for him. He could have sent bhima, satyaki, dristadyumn, nakul, sahadev out of the milkyway galaxy as their chariot wasn't supported by krishna and hanuman. Horses were readily pulling krishna which means horses were more powerful than krishna which again proves krishna isn't God as per tv serials. Reality-: Krishna is the God. The concept of krishna carrying the weight of the universe is never mentioned in any of authentic texts. He can lift the universe, but he doesn't need to do it. Both the story and logic of this incident shown by the serial isn't authentic and not real. ESPECIALLY TV serials like I don't what to say but why they can 't show true potential of Arjuna and burst out the myths about him and show Karna as he was why to glorify him so much . They don't show us real stories. Real stories lies in the scriptures. Thanks for reading
I guess people should not confuse this with real mahabharat and just take it as a sci fi inspired from hindu mythology. Moreover they can show that since ashwatthama is narrating the story, he maybe adding false bits since karna was his friend and he sees him as a greater warrior.
I suggest the first time watchers to chill and dont get overwhelmed , watch the first half with patience and don't keep yourself reminding that it is slow nothing had happened it is slow ,bruh nothing had happened because there might something will be happening in the 2nd half so let that excitement out and concentrate on the movie so you will know the purposes for that slow build
The first scene of Mahabharat was the best, it set the course of the movie! Without Mahabharat scenes not one person would understand. Mahabharat is too important for everything in the movie. Best part of all scenes was Shri Krishna' s scenes. Nothing beats that.

Actually I would say like if you would have known the Kalki like the real story what Kalki is then maybe you would have liked the story more .... And I would say it was more like just a build up story next part is going to be crazy ....
