कल्पवृक्ष देवलोक का एक वृक्ष। इसे कल्पद्रुप, कल्पतरु, सुरतरु देवतरु तथा कल्पलता इत्यादि नामों से भी जाना जाता है। पुराणों के अनुसार समुद्रमंथन से प्राप्त 14 रत्नों में कल्पवृक्ष भी था। यह इंद्र को दे दिया गया था और इंद्र ने इसकी स्थापना सुरकानन में कर दी थी। हिंदुओं का विश्वास है कि कल्पवृक्ष से जिस वस्तु की भी याचना की जाए, वही यह दे देता है। इसका नाश कल्पांत तक नहीं होता। 'तूबा' नाम से ऐसे ही एक पेड़ का वर्णन इस्लामी धार्मिक साहित्य में भी मिलता है जो सदा अदन (मुसलमानों के स्वर्ग का उपवन) में फूलता फलता रहता है।

How to use Kalpavriksha Leaves in your food? You can use few Kalpavriksha Leaves easily in your daily diet. Fresh leaves can be cooked with Saag (80% spinach + 20% Kalpavriksha Leaves).The Kalpavriksha leaves can also be used in salad or as a garnishing just like coriander. The leaves can simply be stuffed in parathas and commonly 5-10 Kalpavriksha leaves can be eaten raw for healthy benefits.
The leaves are also Anti-Allergic, Anti-Asthmatic, Anti-Malaria (slows down the growth), cures gastric, kidney and joint diseases and also help in treating insect bites.Kalpavriksha tree leaves have several magically medicinal properties and can be of great help in various deficiencies of Calcium and Vitamin
It is said that few Baobab leaves everyday can help in supplementing our daily nutritional needs. These leaves also contain antioxidants, which have anti-aging properties.
