Kalush Orchestra & The Rasmus - In The Shadows of Ukraine - REACTION 

I am a fan of The Rasmus and I loved this collaboration with Kalush Orchestra. They met earlier this year because they were both in Eurovision, which Kalush Orchestra won. But they met and after doing a street jam together the idea for this collaboration was born. An amazing mix of different genres combining their sounds to a great and powerful song. In the Shadows is The Rasmus biggest hit from 2003 but the lyrics takes on a totally new meaning here. ❤🇺🇦 The Rasmus are a Finnish band that started when they were still in school. I love their music. They have released 10 albums between 1996-2022 and I see them as an alternative rock-pop band mixed with a lot of different influences such as funk, rap, metal, gothic, symphonic, pop and dance… etc.

The Rasmus is a finnish band formed in Helsinki in 1994. Their international breakthrough was between 2002/2004, with the HIT ¨In the shadows¨. They met Kalush Orchestra this year, when both bands represented their countries at Eurovision. The Rasmus had a great (and no suported) act with the song ¨Jezebel¨.

I found your channel because of your BTS reactions a while back. But I've been a big fan of The Rasmus for decades. They just finnished an European tour. I'm from the Netherlands, but I flew to the UK to see them play 4 more shows there. They have done concerts in America before. If you ever get a chance to see them play, take it. Their albums are good, but they're AMAZING live. The Rasmus have been Finish rock icons for decades now. Most people know them from their song 'In the shadows'which they released in 2003. But they have so many songs, that are even more gorgeous. It's worth diving into them a bit more. Their music has a special feel to it. The singer Lauri often describes it as 'positive sadness'. And besides all that, they're just really lovely people, by the way. I've been lucky enough to meet them a few times. They're really warm, sweet and funny.
