Yes they are building a lot of nonsense niche things without really thinking things through. How many people are going to pick this up. I like the fact that it has a long range which means one can charge it less. I have an electric scooter and after 25 miles of being rattled around I'm done.
With occasional stops I wouldn't mind riding for few hours. With my current boards, I always ride the max distance 25-40km and I often feel like that's not enough. However bigger pack has other advantages like you don't need to run your battery 100% to 0%, instead do 80% to 30% which will prolong it's life. Or you can ride on tougher terrain or hills without worrying about big consumption. Or you can upgrade to 4wd drive. Big pack can also be charged faster in terms of distance charged per hour.
