However Trump were he to be elected, would be the oldest ever, being 78.5 years old, To put that in perspective, Ronald Regan, when he left the presidency (who we now know to of been suffering from Alzheimer's while he was in office) left the office at the age of 77. Trump is too old, the only reason that wasn't a factor until now was that he was running against a man even older, now he isn't, so his age becomes a factor.
it pretty much checks out imo, in terms of legislative or otherwise large scale leadership experience required for a position with so much international weight historically. With that being said, a big priority on the geopolitical landscape is how we will see ourselves represented internationally against ideological opposition in Russia/China, whose leaders are each exactly the same age at 71. Putting someone forward with at least some common ground to those two could prove wise, at least until younger generations escalate to some relevant influence worldwide. I'm not advocating for either side here but it's worth considering as a factor in approaching the ballot- thanks for reading my rambling lol

Whether you consider abortion to be the destruction of a life or its potential, whether you think women should have the right to choose to get an abortion and within what time frame, abortions are also fundamentally healthcare. A government denying access to healthcare to a specific group along any line, but especially moral lines, is a civil rights issue. The struggle for abortion rights in the US is very comparable to the struggle for civil rights, women's suffrage, Native American rights, etc. Foreign wars are not as important or impactful to Americans as internal matters, especially matters as vital as civil rights. As meaningful as the wars in Ukraine and Palestine are, what happens on American soil will always be more important to more Americans. Even socio-politically, a couple small wars is nothing compared to a number of looming threats, namely climate change, nonrenewable resources, etc. It's understandable to *want* the wars to be at the political forefront this election, but moronic to demand more attention be paid to it than an internal civil rights issue.

I'm 24 and I don't know ANYONE who is excited about voting for the Democratic ticket. The Trump supporters I know and see are all energized, and I just don't see that anywhere among the democratic base. The main thing that motivates people to vote democratic at this point is because they don't want Trump, but not because they're excited about Kamala Harris. And a lesser of two evils scenario just doesn't really do a good job of charging up a base.
