David Wrestling is 10 times harder than striking. Anybody can learn to strike and become moderately good and it’s not too taxing on the body, but any wrestler transitioning to MMA knows that wrestling is harder. If a striker doesn’t want to get mauled on the ground (Conor) maybe they should learn how to get their lazy ass off the ground, A striker can get a lucky strike and maybe get a KO but a good grappler will ALWAYS dominate.

Usman is the strongest guy in his division. This is how he dominates. Displays zero BJJ skills. Zero! His wrestling is not great either. Better than most but again, strength. USA wrestling channel has plenty of footage of him losing. Where are those guys, maybe they should have their black belts too.

And as far as i know usman is a wrestler in the first place. that was just a smart usage of wrestling power againts mainly striker. He didnt do any judo technique, which is arguably important part of bjj neither any bjj technique which i feel isnt consistent in cage so I cant blame him. All i dont get is how do u achieve a black belt like that for not showing any skill to prove it in that match.
