And that was the beginning of my healing, not long after that, I was expecting!!! And my life literally turned around. Reminds me of why I am called Neema. My mum bore only male children, 3, and those days bearing one gender in the home could always be a call for unnecessary insults. I'm told that my uncle who also had only daughters in his home, 8 of them, could find mum on the path and try seducing her with words for a sleep together so that mum conceives a girl child(because he thought he had the capacity to give a female seed just like that owing to the many daughters he had) Long story made short, my mum and dad went down to their knees... Two years later, I was conceived. I was named Neema, meaning Grace. Ni kwa Neema ya Mungu
