Isa ako sa mga dating nag trabaho sa props and special effects department sa GMA 7 at ito yung henshin na pinag kuhanan namin ng inspirasyon sa Darna transformation ni Miss Angel at Miss Marianne. Practical lighting, smoke at effects at iba iba na anggulo na pagkuha. Ngayun mas lumawak na kaalaman ko sa pag graphics at effects binabalik balikan ko pa din ito, dahil nakakamiss ang kabataan ko at eto ang naging dahilan kung bakit ako naging involve at nag aral ng special effects at graphic art.
Napaka layo ng effects ng Darna sa Maskrider Black ahead of its time na nga ang Darna pero bulok parin effects ng GMA7 actually until now ang baduy kita mo Votes V Legacy nilangaw, wala gaanong batang nanood at namangha 😂 hindi tulad neto 1986 technology pa hindi pa din kaya tapatan ng Philippine movie industry 😂 nakaka hiya.
Ito yung time na manghang mangha ako sa palabas nato, hindi pa uso ang green screen technology at special effects, pero ang graphics ahead of its time sa pagkakaalala ko sobrang advance na ang tingin ko sa palabas nato at wala siyang katulad, best memories ever, dahil sa palabas na ito nawala takot ko sa multo at mga katatakutan kasi ginagaya ko si MaskRiderBlack! the first kamen rider i watch. the cracking sound, henshin pose, the light from belt, smokes, red eyes and transformation sequence still the best for me. his design is simple but yet gives off a strong aura. back then we compete who has the best to imitate his henshin pose

I'm more of a Kuuga guy when it comes to henshin and poses but in Showa era Black and Black RX will always be my favorite. Raw unadulterated action, good practical effects, and quite a deep story (For Black, RX is a little more kiddy)

Is it worth buying? I've been considering buying it but I'm not sure since the reviews I've seen don't really go in-depth. I'd consider it if the voice activation when worn is decent, and if the rotary mechanisms sound doesn't cover up the actual sound effects as much as it does in videos. If not I might just wait for some kinda CSM release with voicelines and background music, it just feels as if something is missing without that BGM.
just noticed, KR-black transforms, but he isnt dawning an armor, he is transforming his body into his cyborg form, basically his armor is his body... but doesnt that mean in that form, he is basically bare naked?
Not really. If you watched the first episode there's a scene where Black was first cyborg-ized. He's more monster-like there. His henshin basically covers what he really looks like and transforms whatever around him as armour. You can see when he transform, before his helmet is on.
Nope he's no actually dawning an amor...if the amor inside his human body..he doesn't need to henshin now does he...he can just fight and perform everything by using his human body...
@@alonelypotato2788 Most of the Showa Riders are all experimented to become bio-weapons. In order to use or activate their powers they need to "Henshin" to become Kamen Riders. The "Henshin" is the every Tokakutsu signature pose to use and to trigger their powers.

@@BostonGaming19 There is a henshin for every generation. I'm sure in no time they'll be doing henshin poses too after seeing other and more latest riders. Just as much as you did with Black.

8:34 God I loved when they started playing "Henshin Rider Black" during the henshins. ^^ If I'm remembering correctly they also played this during Kotaro's jumping henshins too.
