Blade is my favorite season... the fact that his final form is earned by defeating Category King instead of being given to him for plot makes it so satisfying. Not to mention, that very cool first opening

Blade is such a strange series in the fandom. It started the trend of using henshin sequences as shields or extra hits, and the trend of creating the belt around the rider from the driver Itself too. Has great fighting songs, a great Final form, solid characters, and one of the best endings in the franchise. But It still is not respected enough.

KR Blade is that rare show that sticks to the rules it established until the end. They even made a second Joker to complete the deck. It's also so popular in Japan (where it mattered) that they revisited the two Jokers in another series with a series mainstay.

The best Heisei rider series ever. The ending is so bittersweet.

Fusion Jack of Spades and Diamonds allows both Kenzaki and Garren to fly, given that their cards are birds. Also, it enhances Kenzaki's sword's reach. As for Garren, it only adds a bayonetta to his gun. Fusion Jack of Hearts (toy and game exclusive) adds a claw to Chalice's bow and a fur cape to shield him (it's a wolf undead). Fusion Jack of Clubs (also toy and game exclusive) modifies his armor by adding elephant-like designs and adds a wrecking ball for extra reach.

Ahhh yes, The "Brave" Blade. Even after so many years later, and the fact that Blade form is not really good in my eye, it's still one of my favorite season

Blade is one interesting Rider... He's very weak and unskilled at first but he's beating a lot of high category undead very well on the later part.

Blade will remain as the best kamen rider from the heisei era.. The story.. everything... Even the belt looks simple but good.. unlike today, too colorful and damn toyish look

Garren can duplicate himself, Leangle can free the sealed undead on any card drawn, Chalice can turn into any undead in his deck, and Blade.....can tackle. Kinda feels like the titular character got the short end of the stick there.

Honestly one of the best well-written Rider series. The implementation of the mechanics of a card game (straight flush, royal straight flush, four cards) into final blows is actually very, very genious.

I love this, but I wish you were able to show his other two combos, which I think were manga only. He could combine the 9 of Spades Mach with either the 2 of Spade Slash or 3 of Spades Beat for a rapid slashing or punching attack.

For being the equivalent to Star Wars prequels of Kamen Rider, Blade is still good overall, special in terms of nostalgia factor, but not the best. The music and action kicks ass tho

1. Lightning Blast = Perform a Flying Side Kick energized by Electricity. 2. Lightning Sonic = Run at high speed that produce enough Electricity before perform a Flying Side Kick powered by Lightning. 3. Lightning Slash = Perform a Slash imbued with electricity. 4. Royal Straight Flush = Run toward the opponent before performing a Slash energized with all 10, J, Q, K, and A card power. 5. Royal Flush = Combine the power of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 cards causing Blade to manifest Blay Rouzer. 6. Four Cards = Combine the power of King of Spade along with 6 of all Suit.

I feel like if Blade is a pokemon, he'd be "electric + steel" type. Just look at his cards, thunder card is his element, along with metal card, even better, a card that control magnetism, literally a subject directly relate to electricity and metal. And Mach to enhance his speed, as electric types mons are known for their speed.
