Well the strain is shared between both Phillip and Shotaro I imagine

That one had side effects because Shoutaro's body alone can't handle the strain of Philip power but Extreme fuses them two allowing to draw out more power without any side effects

To add to this, the first Memory used was Prism, which has the ability to let Double safely use combined Maximum Drives.

Add the fact that this was (supposedly) Phillip's final wish so he pretty much everything here.

Not quite: -Twin Maximum Drives are dangerous for a single person, but Xtreme fuses their two bodies into one, increasing their capacity -Prism Memory is implied to enable safe use of combined Maximum Drives

He's an emotionless zombie who wanted to steal other people's emotions to feel something. Honestly W's villains beyond Kirihiko(who would've made for a great secondary Rider and kept Terui as a tertiary ala Gills) and Isaka were pretty bleh, which is one of the few complaits I have of the show
