Saw this on a whim, and I want to say thank you for sharing your thoughts. Kuuga is my favorite Rider and it's not often that I find people who have such a good handle on what Kuuga excels at: the human aspect of the show. The final fight with Daguva is possibly one of my favorite moments in any Rider show hands down. I think Agito is very good; you can think of it like Kuuga but more polished. I do hope you give it a try at some point in the future. Again, I sincerely thank you for giving Kuuga a shot and watching it all the way through! 👍 Regarding my least favorite Rider, I'd say it would have to be the second half of Hibiki. The first half was wonderful and down-to-earth, but the creative decisions made in the last half seemed to change it for the sake of "being Rider." I also have a dislike for Decade due to Rising Ultimate's existence but Yusuke Onodera is an interesting take on Kuuga that enjoyed (though I wish it was executed better.)
Thank you very much for the kind words. I had been wanting to get to Kuuga and Agito for awhile and seeing it subbed legally made it easy to power through while exercising. I'm glad that it lived up to the hype. I think Kamen Rider could use some more seasons that focus less on the power ups and more on the characters. Agito is definitely on the short list of things to watch next. I'll finally be able to say I've seen all of the Heisei era. Then I'll try to hit the really old school stuff. (I've watched JAKQ and Battle Fever J recently so at least I'm getting there on the Sentai side.)
