Throwback Thursdays! Sort of.... We had a bunch of copyright issues with this game, so we had to change the pitch in the audio to get rid of the copyrights. Can I ask you something. Feel free to ignore this I know it's been years since you commented. Bug I'd appreciate your help pointing me in some direction when it comes to a game I've been searching for. It reminds me alot of this games aesthetic I remember it being on an old xbox or ps2 demo disc and it was pretty dark from what I remember. There was this scene either a game over or in the opening where a fairy or pixie is ensnared by these autonomous vines it scared me deeply when I saw this as a kid I know this game is real I just don't know what to look for.
I burned so many hours playing this back then, my sister always wanted to play it with me because I'm the only one that had a 360 in our house and she just loved the game I didn't blame her lol
Ahhh, the nostalgia is strong here. I remember staying up really late on school nights- I was like in elementary school lol- with door cracked open and the bathroom light on (Cause some scenes scared me- like that shadow trolls and the creepy lizard witch lady). XD I love this game couldn't stop playing it for the life if me. ^^ Off topic but if they made a second version of this game would it have continued the story but with the lizard lady as the main villain? Like why she betrayed the family and lied to both Kameo and her sister Kalos? Just what was her purpose? She got away so the story- to me- isn't over yet. I would love for them to come up with a second continuation of the game but with better graphics and more mature themes etc.
Yes they were going to continue this story with the Mystic :’)(crazy lizard lady) being the main antagonist.. and Kameo would be more matures and affected by the darkness.. The Mystic had cursed and manipulated the royal family from the beginning .. for what reason was unknown (perhaps she wanted the elemental power for herself ?)
@El ChicaLoca 〈3 From what I can remember, the Mystic is the last of her species, and she wanted to destroy the elven kingdom because the ancestors of the elven royal family killed the rest of her species
I just now started playing this game. Everyone is talking about nostalgia in the comments but its new to me. Very underrated game. I can't believe it wasn't much more popular and that the sequel never came out.
I remember watching the ad of this game on a bonus CD that came with Crimson Skies on the first xbox. I was interested enough then and remembered it in 2023, so I decided I'd watch it. I should've bought it back then.
Ppl don’t know how ICONIC this game was, and it was beyond its time. I feel sad b/c nowadays they don’t get the storyline, plot line, creative themes or interactive games like this no more. I highly recommend everyone to give Kameo a chance, it’s such a gem.
Heya, we have a Kameo discord server, that grows bigger every day: discord.gg/VsN9B6W Also a lot of Kameo fans don't know this, but this game has hidden lore that covers the backstories of every character, including Kalus. In fact I've seen a lot of fans make Kalus their favourite after reading the journals and lost lore. Also, there's currently a petition to make a PC port of the game, if anyone's interested at all: www.change.org/p/microsoft-create-a-pc-port-for-kameo-elements-of-power A piece of that hidden lore is included in the bottom of the petition if anyone wants a quick read into it, but I cannot recommend this enough. The server has a copy of all canon sources of lore, ranging from the official website, to the journals *(VERY important)* the podcasts and even the manga. Yes there's an official manga. And there was a sequel. But it was cancelled for Kinect. That being said, we have content on that too in the server.
Doesn't matter how old you are... a Princess is just someone (a girl or woman) who is in line to take over the throne of a kingdom at some point after the current King or Queen. In this case, Kalus (Kameo's sister) is angry because she is the eldest heir to the throne (and the power that comes with it) but has been passed over by her mother in favor of the younger Kameo. She is the rightful inheritor of the throne and power by birthright (because she is the oldest), and so she feels robbed of what she sees as being rightfully hers. As for their ages, I think the Wiki pages for the game put Kameo at 15 and Kalus at 18.
wish this worked, the xbox one backcompat is full of bugs including mine which is not signing in with my gamercard in the emulator. And not being able to connect to xbox live to recover it either in the emulator. In xbox one though its open nat and connected no problems.
