I'm getting my TE37's mounted and balanced as we speak and I'm going to apply the ceramic coatings when I get it later on today. Got the Stance Rim Coat because it seemed the most beginner friendly option with 5-10 minutes cure time. I drive an FK8 Type R :) Thanks a lot for the video!

I am doing the Stance Rim on a brand new set of wheels today. makes sure you follow directions, wait 10-15 minutes before wiping and do 2 coats per rim. whats great is does not have a harsh solvent odor so its nicer to work with

Did my wheels with IGL Ceramic Wheel Coating. Very easy to apply. Seems to be super hydrophobic.

Another great video demonstration. But, like I'd mentioned in one of your many videos. You need to try the ceramic coating by kamikaze, also sold by Esoteric in Ohio. It must be the best ceramic coating product out in the market.

I use Gtechniq CSL and EXOV4 works great on wheels. trims and same stuff that I coated my whole car with.Thanks Phil another very detailed video .

Phil honestly ur 007 works just as good for me but i clean my wheels At least 2/3 a week to so i think its a case by case situation but great demo and cool product.. stay safe phil..

As always, great real world review, great comments about getting the wheels wet driving , that requires extra care.. keeping clean often is the key. Thanks for showing it.

I’m yet to try kamikaze coatings but I do have ceramic pro and have use Geyon in the past. My wheels on a Porsche get stupid amount of brake dust and I find clean up is easier and the coating protects the rims from any brake dust hurting the finish but isn’t a miracle work where you don’t get your hands dirty. I pretty much always have to use butshes but that’s what making washing fun and that bond.

Hi Mate, Great vid. I have a Golf R mk7 with a stage 2 Breaks I'm running DBA T3 4000 rotors with DBA performance pads. Had Kamakazi Stance on it for 13 months now and it's still holding up as good as the first month after application. Very happy with it but yeah the price...5 out of 10. Overall 9/10 👍

Great content, I like the real world 6 weeks use of the car. I use regular ceramic coating to protect my black wheels, that's better than any wheel wax I tried in the past. BTW your fresh washed black car looks amazing, what tire protectant do you use? Thanks for doing this research and sharing the results with us, you deserve more subs.

Hi the tire dressing is one we developed over the course of a year, we plan to bring it to market once the world returns back to normal so no ETA yet, visit my Instagram i posted lost of demo videos on there and info.

Jade Quartz Pro is really great coating. Paint + Wheel + everything else coating. Crazy hard, crazy slick. Easy to work with as well. Whats the guilia protected with now?

Hi the paint has no coatings just the wheels, i only use my Auto Fanatic 007 Gloss Enhancer as a drying aid after washes it works amazing and give great protection between washes,

I actually find Gyeon rim to be super slick to wipe off. Carpro dlux on the other hand is super sticky and won't buy again.

maybe temperature sensitive? the Gyeon Rim for the money is the way to go I feel as it has proven itself on cars ive tested on and hundreds of customers who reported great long term feedback

Cant complained about gieon rim works good and doesn't cost an arm and a leg, if it's not broke dont fix it !

I am not impressed with Stance over my DLUX, but the Fanatic Wheel Cleaner is the true winner for those wheels.

have you tried the Stance? I tried the Cquartz UK 3.0 on wheels and it worked well but did not last very long which makes me think it does not hold up with high heat. the DluX will be tested soon on another car.

@@autofanaticcars Sorry not, and at that price not going to happen. My DLUX is over 1.5 years but I do spray with Reload every couple of months. Plus use only soap or Brakebuster to clean, but then again using on Lexus or F150 not your performance driving, LOL. I have your wheel cleaner but have yet to try it, waiting for a few really dirty wheels. Keep it up, I always learn from your experiences.

Stance is way better but you must follow the directions most people apply it and remove it too soon you must wait 15-20 minutes to get best results and do 2 layers

i did these wheels with 2 coats and there is enough left to do another set of wheels if you use it carefully.

Is your opinion that Kamikaze Stance is a better product than Gyeon Rim?

as i mention in the video the Stance is far easier and a much better user experience overall which gives it the upper hand if that matters but all these coatings seem to perform very similar. What set this apart is the lower solvent smell, no stickiness and zero high spots versus all others but you cant go wrong with any of the proven ones out there IF You do the proper preparation.

easily enough to do another 4 wheels inside and out with 2 coats the yield seems far better than any other coating ive used i think because it does not get sticky and flows out easier.

Wheel cleaning foam, does it come in a gallon? Would love to buy a gallon of it - I’m from Sydney. What dilution ratio do u put in ur foam cannon?

no need to sell in gallons as the 16oz bottle can be diluted to make up to 4 gallons of wheel cleaner

Auto Fanatic so how many ounces of the wheel cleaner would you add add to a standard foam cannon and then how many ml of water? Won’t diluting it to make 4 gallons make the foam runny?

please visit the product page on the auto fanatic site all of the instructions are updated for various methods of use. in a foam cannon as shown i used 2 oz of the concentrate with 80% water in the foam cannon reservoir, shake and foam.

Auto Fanatic oh yes I see, would it be safe to store the foam cannon as is if you’re only say using 1/5 of it for each wash? I can’t imagine using the entire foam cannon on the wheels for each wash. Would the chemicals or product deposits crust or solidify in the head of the foam cannon and cause issues is stored as is?

perfectly safe i do have a dedicated foam cannon just for wheels and leave it full always on the shelf, when full i can do my cars many times its an outstanding value and eliminates the need to pre rinse as i explain in this video

im sure you can but there is no documentation on using it for that and for extreme heat scenarios so you may want to contact them to ask.

mine aer satin black and this added barely any sheen but on your wheels always do a test spot on the backside or inside first

The smell? I'm sorry, but I just don't understand that. I've never used a ceramic coating that was anywhere near noxious that I was "sick". And that was full vehicles, let alone just wheels. Maybe if I put a plastic bag over the wheel and stuck my head in it to apply the coating, I'd feel sick. 🤦‍♂️

next time you use a coating lock your garage and turn on the heat to 75 degrees with a blowing fan and spend a few hours in there and let me know how you feel afterwards.

@@autofanaticcars I've topped with with couple of diffent toppers and have zero issues.(black, grey and a red cars). It accepted bead maker, tac system and Polish angel with no issues. If somone is looking for a smooth feeling coating, Miyabi(after installed ) isnt' IT but it's durable and beads.
