@@mrk.8448 the energy regeneration of the amenoma is quite good too so you dont have to buy blackliff but with attack buffers blackliff can be better in terms of dmg but i would still choose amenoma bcuz it looks cool on ayato

I have R5 Flute and no Amenoma and certainly not enough billets to R5 it, so I guess I’ll be using Flute till Haran comes back on the weapon banner. Was seriously contemplating getting Blacksword for him but $$$.

Base attack obviously matters but weapons with atk subs are generally balanced to be similar to other weapons with atk subs of the same rarity. You will see a bigger number on the stats screen overall with higher base though but people do exaggerate the impact. However if you start equipping weapons with

@@hellfire6714 Base attack basically makes all your other atk% stats from sands or substats way better therefore usually outclassing weapons with lower atk and higher weapon stat values. It actually makes a bigger effect the more levelled up the item is. Mathematically, higher base atk is always worth it and is usually the reason most 5 star weapons outperform 4 star options as a rule.

@@ShepardCommander "higher base atk is always worth it" - wrong. Between two 5* choices, base atk does not make a difference to your *overall* damage. Between two 4* choices - same. Yes, 5* weapons having higher base attack make them outperform 4* options, but you can't say the same for the weapons of the same rarity. This message would become too long if I were to explain it further, so I guess just use some damage calculator somewhere and compare them if you don't believe me. For example, compare Jade Cutter(44 base atk) and Mistsplitter(48 base atk) damage, without their passives active(for ease of calculation). Less base atk having more weapon substat value makes it essentially the same power level as more base atk with less substat value, regardless of your artifact choices.

@@twothreeoneoneseventwoonefour5 Actually wrong, because of the way atk% is added as opposed to base atk. Depending on your artifacts, it makes a huge difference. From your example 674 to 542 base atk means a difference of 132 base atk, which translates into a 1.32 extra atk from each atk% derived from sands or substats when comparing. So in essence each point of atk% of a build with a 48 base atk sword is worth 1.32% when compared to a base atk 44 sword (so it basically translates into an extra atk% per 3 atk%), without accounting for character base atk. On a build with 100 atk% thats 32% extra when comparing the 2.

@@ShepardCommander dude, literally read my last paragraph, you are the one who is completely wrong. You are just taking the calculations out of context lmao. Don't try to calculate damage only deriving it from one factor which is a base attack, but calculate damage from everything at the same time. I am talking about overall damage, resulting damage which *your character will deal* from actual multipliers and everything combined. *go and use damage calculator right now and check your damage differences, you are completely wrong* To contradict all your calculations, just compare *average* damage of jade cutter and mistsplitter *without their passives active* on some character (keqing for example) and you will see all the differences between basic attack+substat distribution, which is not significant at all=negligible. In reality it is less than 5% difference for most characters, if it even exists at all. Run the actual calculations in practice if you want to see the truth. (this is actually a hidden knowledge, but all the offensive weapons which have atk% cr or cd secondary stats *are all made to be* almost exactly the same power level within their rarity, if we *only* take into consideration base atk+substat distribution. Passive abilities is what makes a weapon stronger than others in comparison and not its base atk or substat)

What passive Bro do you know what every weapon's passive do Favonuis: after Crit u get energy Amenoma: when using E after 3 E s and Ult u get back some energy Blackcliff: when killing enemy gives u attk % doesn't work if u don't kill enemies ( so vs bosses its useless) Flute: damaging an enemy makes an AOE DMG Everything is good it's showcase for raw stats

@@mehdion7540i know all of them and that's exactly my point.. if you compare weapons with different substats and passives, you should also give the pros and cons of each.. showing raw damage will be unfair for energy recharge weapons yet they can provide the highest burst uptime.. it's like comparing a dps, a support and a healer based on their damage only..

This video is specifically about damage, if you wanna talk about ER then you just compare the ER between both weapons which you can easily do by just googling the weapons ER when the weapon is maxed out. It's not even close to ''comparing a dps, a support and a healer'', at all, that comparison doesn't even make ANY sense. The fact is, the flute and blackcliff give more damage, but don't have the ER. Anyone who knows the swords already knows that and can decide for themselves, based on the DMG in this video, if having more ER for the burst or more DMG for their E is worth it or not. Nobody is gonna click on a video about weapon comparisons whilst not knowing wth the weapons do. The pros and cons are YOUR job to do, as it is YOUR choice.

I saw a video where the harbringer of dawn does more damage than any of the other 4 star weapons, but only if you can keep the passive of the weapons.

If you alrdy have a decent gladiator and heart of depth 4 pc then go for it, But if u dont, u can farm for the echoes of offering 4 pc. They all have similar dmg so it doesnt rlly matter which u go for. As for stats, go for atk%/hydro dmg bonus/crit

Amenoma, Ayato kit almost doesn't use physical attack at all.

your statement is flawed. different weapons have different base attacks which both artifact main and sub stats directly scale off of. atk% stats either on your sands' main stat or your sub stats will provide more attack with a weapon with 545 base attack like blackcliff compared to a weapon with 454 base attack like favonius. and that's just the tip of the iceberg. if the content creator is reading this, please do not listen to the said suggestion. thank you

@@kyurokun absolutely amenoma. passive er regen helps with er problems, and although is somewhat anti-synergistic with his a4 passive, it is light years ahead of the flute. hope that helped
