From your perspective, Mr. Kamiya, what is the difference between the role of director and that of chief or supervising director? How is your role in a project like Bayonetta or Wonderful 101 different from Bayonetta 3 or Sol Cresta? Thank you for taking the time to answer English comments.

I feel like working with Namco back in the 90s would've been a solid fit with Kamiya. Slightly experimental action games with subpar funding. He definitely could've helped make those Musou games go in a better direction.

Kamiya-san i've noticed in a lot of your games you feature the theme of passing the torch on to the next generation. I've played most of your games and I play bayonetta all the time, and I feel like through them i've been able to learn a lot about game history and design. This is kind of a deep question but I was wondering if there was any design philosophy that you would like to pass on to future generations of designers, or if there's anything you felt you haven't been able to communicate through the games. I really like that my opinion of the Shin trilogy is the same as him. Shin Ultraman is definitely the most underrated of the 3. But's hard to beat Shin Godzilla for sure.

I wouldn't be against the idea of a DMC remake if it was directed by Kamiya, to be honest. Still, I'm not sure we need one. The original will always exist and that manpower could be put to better use by making something brand new instead.
