We put up our new Kampa Hayling 4 poled tent for the first time - see the mistakes we made! The Hayling 6 is a very similar tent, just bigger, so watch this if you're thinking of getting one of those too.
Yes we got the footprint, which seems to be a worthwhile addition because it keeps dirt off the tent base. Our local camping place, SK Camping near Godstone, Surrey we’re doing a special deal if you bought the tent, footprint and internal carpet together. Not sure if they’re still doing it though.
I can’t remember for sure as not used it for 6 months and the tent’s currently in storage, but from memory I don’t think it has. The side door definately has one but not the front which does seem a bit strange now you’ve brought it to my attention. Will tell you for sure when we use it again hopefully soon now.
Hi, we haven’t gone for the vestibule at the present time, though the tent comes with the overhang at the front that acts as a porch and gives a bit of shade. As there’s only 2 of us, this is probably all we’ll need. Sorry no idea how easy the vestibule attachment goes on, but knowing Kampa I’d guess it’s probably quite easy.
