u know that in this operation it was not fired 1 bullet!? And i think one of the people who actuelly was a party of the real operation is in the movie :P
Dear Mr Alvestad, I think this is the best of the three movie treatments to date of this very important part of the Second World War; of the heroism of the men who took part in it and the sacrifices they made. It seems to me the most informative and the one which gives us the most inward sense of what was entailed. Thank you very much for posting this and supplying your excellent subtitles. It makes this film accessible to so many more viewers; as it should be. What a pity that it is not available on DVD!
absolutely :D Scotland , our closest neighbour across the sea with so many historical ties. The ting here is that moest Norwegians think of the whole of UK as "England" for some stupid reason. (pls excuse my grammar)

ET les U K n'ont - ils pas cherché à avoir les recherches = formules ? merci pour ce document . Surtout on a jamais tellement entendu parlé et des détails à ce sujet ! Nos parents ont naturellement vécus et subi ce tps ! Il est utile d'^tre aujourd^'hui au courant informé.
Too bad this is not subtitled...I have been looking for this movie for years (in French or in English) and cannot find it anywhere. I watched this movie in 1954 in France (la bataille de l'eau lourde) and would like to see it again. Where do we get it? (Operation swallow or the battle for heavy water in English)

Just finished reading an excellent new book about this by Damian Lewis k: amzn.eu/b0VAsDy highly recommended. This film sticks very closely to the true story, their survival and hardships in the mountains are simply unbelievable. Ronnenberg the leader was the youngest of the group only 24 ! .
