I so enjoy your work, I save it as sweets, or a reward, for listening to all the bitter parts of knowledge, that I take in first. Your works are pure. Clear. Mystical. Time standing still. Thank you, Captain. Fine Dessert. Life of those, unaware of the, secrets...
This reminds me of a travel agency movie for realtors. People in the film seem to be reoccurring posers in many of the shots. Look at all of the nice churches, meet clean people, and nice manicured green spaces. Very underpopulated so move here now. The bankers are ready to put you in debt in a nice place. Thank you captain kirk, much love to you all 💞🗺💞💜😊
The walking toddler then the bike that really erks me hashtagorphantrain...where are all the a louer signs?! And why is that guy stuffing stuff in the second story window?! This looks like io999 footage.
Thank you so much. I live in Kampen and am only 22 years young. I love the history of our city. Did you know that our own army bombed the bridge so the German soldiers couldn't cross the yssel (called IJssel nowadays) yup, it totally failed. The nazi could stil cross by walking over the rubble and make a new bridge next to it.
Wauw! I currently live in the historic city center of Kampen and I am surprised how much Kampen didn't change. Many of the places shown in the video are the same to this day.
I live in Kampen and it's weird seeing al those landmarks on film, because I know where each one is. It really is a beautifull city and I really recommand visiting the city. The brigde across the IJssel has changed. They build a new one. I don't exactly know when, because I also remember the old one.
Born and Raised in Kampen. So weird to see the pictures of the "City Bridge" (Because there are three now a days, and the one shown is the Bridge leading into the "City" Hence the name "City Bridge". The other two are more build to bypass the increasing traffic that went through town). But @Chira, which bridge are you referring to, the white steal frame one, or the one that is there now with Gold plated wheels?
@@Stamilian the steel framed one. I lived in IJsselmuiden the first 10 years of my childhood and clearly remember the time they were building the new City Bridge. Only those on foot or cycling could cross the bridge on that side of town and cars had to cross the river via the New Bridge or Windmill Bridge. The one with the golden wheels is for most people of my generation the one they remember most clearly.
I grew up here and I still live here. I recognize my house and my dad is actually working in the moncastic church of the convent of black or celle sisters. It’s now called the Sint Anna Kapel. I love seeing my city like this, thank you so much.
@@captainkirk1 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Yay. I was watching Niven, and saw your comment, and I hurried over here. So happy to see you back. I really enjoy your great videos and amazing music.
Took a break mate from things but I'm here for now lol how are you during these mad times that seem to be getting better but there not if you know what I mean.
@@captainkirk1 im glad to hear it buddy. I have done the same while starting my new job. Im ok but most people around me are oblivious to real reality and thats what gets to me. Why are most people blindly obedient without a want or desire to learn or know more in life?! It depresses me sometimes! Keep up the good work bud. God bless
@@histree5299 hope your well mate in your new job. I know how you feel I think. Been hard year but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger take care mate peace .
Yeah right 9:03 he was from the other side a minute ago7:53... why is it into the second floors window too?! Hes just like well I gotta stash it somewhere this second story window will do?
@@Muddyorphan1812 It seems to be hay. In the city there used to be some cattle and even a farm within city walls. The type of grass is hard to see because of the old footage.
Thank you verry much!!! On my surch i,ff been to Kampen last year and most of the other old city,s in Holland. Did you read the text on the old orphanitch? on de grachten gordel? Grtz,
''Welcome to a new episode of which city government raped their city the hardest! An ongoing world wide competition.'' Good vid cap. As a Dutchie it's confronting to see.. Btw, I translated the oldest Dutch history cronycle available (oude divisie cronyce, 1507) and it might be a lot less Dutch then we are being told.. (A)
THEN: double fine for fighting in the town's square NOW: paid to riot when evil becomes good..... Gospel of Thomas Saying 10 Jesus said, "I've cast fire on the world, and look, I'm watching over it until it blazes."
Is this the one with the guy stuffing stuff in the second story window...? Listen to this book at about 7 minutes . ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sT1w3oQpseA.html
At 1:59...does that guy in the foreground (white shirt) appear to be a giant, or is that building he is standing in front of -look short? Seems like he could reach up and touch the 2nd story windows, eh? Jesus is on His Way!
I think between you and about 4 other people we could get a pretty good post io999 timeline the his story wouldn't be there i think wevsee all the narratives pretty well im personally around 1320sh...I dont even like thinking they had to show up to these places w a crew just to make an a louer footage to show people where people weren't
Thanks a lot i appreciate it I can find the pictures and old books but I'm not a teacher or good speaker with low confidence but I try lol take care mate thank you for the journey
Make a video about why old people get to make the things we have' cuz theses people know what happened then they where that age. Already civilized especially Darwin the delusional
