Cox is a gentleman, and no doubt. He is a real champion and I can tell that. Win or lose are for athletes, what remains is what Cox showed at the end of the match. That is what a real champ is all about. We love you Ghasempour. Love from Iran to both athletes.
Iranian and American wrestlers got the good relationship and respect eachother . They came to Iran several times . I hope two government ,see and learn how to treat eachother !
@@Jlundeen olympics weight class are so bs...right now there is massive bs in iran that how we can send both yazdani and ghasempour.. i think the best option is to send yazdani in 97 and ghasempour in 86...taylor has yazdani's number and it would be a good change
@@amirrg859 i agree, the Olympic weights are BS. We were all wondering in the US also what Cox was going to do, go 86 and challenge Taylor or go 97 and challenge Snyder. He decided 97 but then did not make weight.
Has anyone realized commentators act like it is US Wrestling Federation and not World Federation! Just look at how they get sad when an American falls down or loses point or how the appraise American wrestlers...
We love u too bro,..our government is sucks but my nation love Americans people so much we never 👎 thin your country is our enemy..I swear to God 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️🇮🇷&🇺🇸
Hello 👋 to beautiful Ossetia This wrestling and attitude of Pahlavani is a heritage for all Iranic people that's why Ossetia and Iran are good in this sport although Ossetians mostly participate in competitions with flag of Russia I just want to say we are aware of Ossetians and their amazing wrestler in Iran
@@erfan3857 allora miei fratello. Grazie mille. Io so сosa siamo fratello. Noi abbiamo e parliamo di Farsi. Grazie mille. Io voglio di mando ,molto Grandissime salutti. dall'Ossezia-Alania. Salam Iran ot Iron.
Cox is one of my favorite wrestlers because he is a gentleman, like you said. Also as an American I really appreciate the respect most Iranian fans have, and I really respect the Iranian wrestlers too.
@@Jlundeen appreciate the Love my friend. We iranians really respect good Wrestling and sportsmanship...and of course as a Result its pure Respect for the US Team since ive only seen superb performances and sportsmanship from them. Its always a pleasure to watch them wrestle.
Goddamn the Iranian is a strong wrestler. I don't think I've ever seen someone get such a deep shot in on Cox. Good match, much respect to the Iranian wrestler. I'm sad to see J'Den lose but I know he will come back strong. Great to see the sportsmanship and mutual respect at the end of the match. In a world with so much international strife and governments that seem to be at odds with one another, I love the fact that the American and Iranian wrestlers have so much respect for each other.
Yes of course the government's game and politics shows everything in wrong way the thing is remain and it's the truth is humanity between all of us with no border 🇮🇷❤️🇺🇲
well done to Ghasempour He is truly a lion I can say he got the best leg attack skills in whole world at this category and well done to Cox for being respectful and accept his loss like a true champ Iran ❤USA
Despite tough fight that both wrestlers had, their behavior and friendship at the end of the match was really interesting. Humanity is more important than the medal. Love US wrestlers from Iran.
Excellent match. Kamran is an absolute phenom to be able to beat a very talented and physically massive Cox... twice!! Leaves no doubts... Mashallah Pahlavan!
@@arash313 ok, you can talk in behalf of yourself and religion has nothing to do with sports, better keep your unique national believe. And I will say dorood Pahlevan.
@@arash313 but your own name is a pure Persian name I’m shocked that you follow Arabic doctrine that conquered your people in gadesiya and destroy glorious Persian heritage.
So much respect for Cox for his true sportsmanship both at the end of the bout and on the podium. That's what I love about him. Ghasempour is a beast and he's going to reap more medals in the future.
The American coaches coming up with very smart strategy and building up their offensive attack from beginning which is surprised Iranian if u look at the Taylor -yazdani or Burroughs -nokhodi matches but the only player was ready for offensive attack was ghassempour against Cox
well, they built up the strategy based on the wrestler's capabilities. basically, ghasempoor can do it without losing points but Yazdani's defense would get shattered when he attacks Taylor. The same goes for nokhudi.
I am an Iranian and a staunch fan of wrestling. As wrestling fans, you know what great and moral wrestlers Iranians have, such as Hassan Yazdani, Qasimpour and others. I don't like any athlete, even though there are exceptional wrestlers in Qasimpur wrestling, Yazdani Taylor and... but Cox is something else!! Even Hasan Yazdani, with all his morals, greatness and popularity, I did not see him able to hug his opponent like this in the finals after his sad losses, Cox has done this many times and although he may not be so prominent among the wrestling giants of the world, but for me and many of Iranians have a rank of morals and character, they are exceptional and should be a role model for everyone....When Qasimpour and Cox's matches were broadcast on Instagram every year, we were happy about Qasimpour's championship, but everyone was excited about Cox's behavior and proud of him. I don't want to lie, for example Taylor is proud, maybe he is kind when he wins, but when he loses to Hassan His arrogance and not taking pictures was clearly evident, being a gentleman and a character is not about the appearance and the time of victory, but it is exactly when you fail that you show how much moral capacity you have, there is no one like Cox, in my opinion, and his place and his ilk in the Olympics more empty than anyone else,
I enjoyed watching this wrestling. Cox's behavior at the end was very professional and brave. Kamran Ghasempour and Cox are both excellent wrestlers. Alireza from Iran.🇮🇷♥️🕋👑
Cox Iranian people love u and Burroughs … true gentleman … u wrestled a strong match … it was very close … wishing u all the best … much love from an Iranian American
J'den is a real gentleman. Love you Kamran. Respect to tough athlete J'den cox from Iran. We don't have any problem with american people, and love them. ♥️❤️🇮🇷🇺🇸
wow, what a performance by both Jden and kamran. I admire how they retain the utmost respect for one another throughout the match despite the physical intensity of it all. That's a quality of true champions. Congrat to Kamran and Jden. There can only be one winner but there can be two champions sometimes. With respect from Iran.
Love to see the sportsmanship between these two athletes in the end. Giving the fact tensions always been between their governments, people of both showed how lovely they are. Viva iran and America
Jden cox is best example for other athletes!! He is In the true sense of the word a gentleman and his behaviour is so perfesional!! He hugged and congratulated to ghasempur at the end!! The things we should see it more in other competitions!! In mutual Ghasempur is also respect Cox! Both they are great athletes!!💪💪🫡 congratulations to ghasempur 🥇
I hate seeing J'den lose. He has had a lot of bad luck in his career (weigh in fiasco in olympic trials, etc.). He is known to have excellent character and you can see it in how gracious he is in defeat but I hope he comes back strong and regains his title. Respect to Ghasempour though, my mind is blown that anyone can get through J'den's defense.
Mr jden cox , the great wrestler and champion , a true master of morality , modesty and kindness . a global champion . greatest Admirations and respect
BOTH of these guys are so strong, mash'Allah! There's a wrestling rivalry that's been going on between the U.S. and Iran, for decades! I think it's driven both countries to produce some of the most exceptional wrestlers in the world! RESPECT!🙂👍🏾❤️🤼♂️
As an Iranian, even if Kamran did not win the match, this performance would have been enough to make me thrilled. Sometimes you should wait to see such wonderful competition between 2 top level wrestler. This will not end, and I am looking forward to see these 2 challenge Abuldrashid at 97 KG in near future. What a wonderful Olympic it would be😎😎
Has anyone realized commentators act like it is US Wrestling Federation and not World Federation! Just look at how they get sad when an American falls down or loses point or how the appraise American wrestlers...
Cox is great Athlete and very good character, very nice and friendly man! For me Ghasempour is the best wrestler in the world, i am wondering that he cant beat Yazdani in the last matches. He is so strong, fast and flexibel. So intelligent Wrestler. And he is 4-5 kilo lighter than Cox, Cox is a Beast. Cox shoot so many Takedowns and Ghasempour defend every of them, wow WHAT A MATCH! We Iranian Love Cox
Only because Ghassempour was torquing Cox’s knee in an injurious way too. If the ref wasn’t going to call it against the one, why then against the other?
Another interesting fact to point out; weigh-ins were several days prior to the match and J'Den at match time had 10 pounds or more on Kamran... you can visibly see the size difference... and yet, Kamran prevailed! Truly impressive! Mashallah Pahlavan!
