I've got a decent 700 hours in siege but I like to watch these videos because I always learn at least one thing. I also like to note the more subjective things you do differently from me, so I can innovate and play the game even more effectively
Biggest issue with Kanal is only 2 ways to rotate as a defender from one side of the map to the other. Far too easy to cut off the rotates for attackers.
i will say. the gym site azami rules. i play her and make all sorts of cover that attackers focus on destroying while i hold the hallway and get kills. im sliver though so maybe thats why it works good?
For Gym and Office site. I think the reinforced walls between site are bad. You want to be able to see into gym site so keep one soft maybe both. Long hallway wall stays soft so you can shoot through it. All of gym back wall by the foosball table is reinforced. On office wall you reinforce all by metal detectors. But other then that I play this Map the same way. I usually win every round we play Gym and Office. Also I keep security wall soft just so you can play by yellow stairs.
Yeah I hate the windows but to avoid spawn peekers you should spawn dock. Then rappel up behind pillbox then attack top to down. Also the maps windows aren't that bad compared to Consulate.
I love Kanal, and yes, i died from attackers on the window a few times. kanal is my best map, as the win statistics says. Also, noobs (newbies) almost can't mess up the site setup because of its simplicity and intuitive understanding what to reinforce.
You couldn't be more right about how bad maps in the past have tainted their updates in the eyes of players. Nobody misses getting spawnpeeked by an SMG-11, acog toting smoke round after round!
I just don’t understand one thing about this map. Why the hell can enemies come from every single direction around you. There aren’t enough people to defend when they do an every angle push
