Kanami or Mincho is genuinely insane. Together with MISA and Akane or Ahchan, or the “Instrumental Troopers” whom they call themselves, these girls even go beyond insanity VERY EASILY.

Kanami is simple put a GENIUS! If you see her in interviews, she is always somewhere else, seems like there is SO MUCH in her little head, that she is thinking about riffs, solos, song structure, the last song she heard in the radio and so on, she LIVES music... And she can mix jazz, blues, rock, punk, funk, pop and metal... Name ONE person that is able to write songs like her!? NOBODY

After listening to other bands: Wow. That guitarist (whoever stand out the best) was amazing! After listening to band-maid: Wow that music was amazing! Oh that guitarist, no that bassist! Oh holy crap the drummer! Oh the singer sounds amazing too. Just give me all their names!!!

Another "older one", but awesome nonetheless!!

I am puzzled by the dichotomy between their massive on stage persona and their interview personalities. Misa invariably looks as if she can't wait for it to end so she can have drink. Akane looks as if she is thinking about her next meal but is attentive. Saiki is just ice cold elegant, Miku is at 20,000 feet in pigeon mode and Kanami - the goddess driving force behind all Band Maid music - is a gauche 14 year old waving her arms about until she gets a look from Saiki and goes all demur. If I were Kanami I would find a huge music store and wander in looking a bit goofy and enquire about a guitar. Chances are a male assistant would belittle her as she asks to try it and is then blown to pieces when she lets rip!

Band-Maid: The best anti-depressant.

I was transfixed on Kanami from the first Band-Maid song I heard. My favorite guitarists are not the fast shredders. It can be fun to watch once, but that stuff generally bores me. I gravitate to the melodic players like David Gilmour and Alex Lifeson. Everything they play is musically pleasing. I put Kanami into this category of guitarist. My guess is she could probably shred with anyone if she wanted, but she's not going to put anything into a Band-Maid song that isn't sonically pleasing, and I love her for that.

More peeks at an important, transformational group known as Band-Maid - a band very few have even heard of. Why Why Why!

Even though bands may play any given song hundreds of times over the course of their career there are times when the stars align and they just catch fire, the performance of this song I believe is one of those times for Band Maid! Another epic song performance (IMO) is when the opened the Line Cube show with "Rinne" , so freaking powerful! Don't know if it possible to react to this one, but even if you watch it on your own it is worth it! Then they follow "Rinne" with the best live performance of "Blooming" 🤯🤯🤯 man I love this band!! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂

A lot of people think this is just a simple rocker, but it's a work of genius, completely agree with you. Band-Maid do so much more than is necessary, it really sets them apart.

World Domination !!!! This is how it is done people, Band -Maid never fails to satisfy and leaving you wanting more..I am sure there are many bands wishing for 1/2 the talent that this band has.

Seems like you upped your mic level. Well like a week ago I watched Kanami on a video about the pedals she uses and some other ones, and they were quite a few tbh xD She's as obssesed with pedals (and Saiki) as I am with Band-Maid!

It's good to heard Kanami properly - I find she's often turned down too low in the mix.

FYI Kanami is the music composer for the band. She writes the songs and gets inputs from the others. She tries to ensure every musician in the band gets there moment in the spot light to say.

I bought "Just Bring It" to complete my library when I recently ordered the "Unseen World" package. It is the first time hearing the studio version of Take Me Higher for me, after having been listening to the live version for the time it was on RU-vid. I must say Misa's popping and slapping sequence at the beginning of the second chorus took me by surprise. It is LOUD, jarringly loud. So much so, it makes me wonder if it wasn't some kind of engineering mistake.

Still one of my favorites! Chemical Reaction reminds of this song a lot! Great song from Band-Maid, Po! I really like this concert mix!

This is the first Band Maid song I heard and I was instantly hooked. Then I heard "Dice"and that was it. I bought the World Domination CD (the special one with this concert) and then the rest of their CD s.

If you havent already i highly suggest picking up the new album Unseem Worlds its amazing.

Can anyone tell me is this concert available anywhere on DVD or blu-ray or maybe for download. I see these vids of this concert but I can't find them anywhere. I would love to add this to my Band Maid collection.

Misa, Bass Player: I played piano till 6th grade, then started playing guitar from 1st year junior high, and I was a vocal/guitar when I was 1st year high school. At 2nd year high school, a senior student asked me to join their band as a bassist. I was interested in playing bass, so I decided to join the band as a bassist. Also, in a resent interview, Misa said that she would like to write/sing songs.

Miku genuinely holds this whole song together with her crunchy rhythm guitar. She allows everyone else to be awesome, while being awesome herself. God, I love this song ... off Just Bring It!, the best hard rock album since Appetite for Destruction, imho.

I like Misa but I wouldn't call her "one of the best bassist ever", she is great and way better than most you find metal/rock bands but at sametime you can easily find some faar more technical bassists out there. Band-Maid is still great because I think they are very balanced, more than a lot of bands I know and their songwriting is great imo. But don't get me wrong, Misa is great, very talented regardless of what I said.
