0:37 this is called _nori-tsukkomi_ , where instead of immediately retorting, you go along with the joke first and then retorting later, Kanata’s timing is impeccable lmao.
Thank you for this explanation. I'm really interested on what kind of humor JP bros and sis have. Are there still any? In my country we do sarcasm and insult humor. Which is really far from what is done here.
@@safe4547 the boke-tsukkomi routine (or funny man and straight man routine) is pretty much a staple of Japanese comedy. It won't be that good without proper understanding of what is happening to deliver the joke properly. Timing is also very important. What happened in this clip is Kanata very quick retorts as the straight man are very furious and without hesitation, just like Miko said lmaooo Other hololive members with this kind of dynamic that I could think of are Aqua-Shion and Pekora-Marine
Ooooh thanks for this upload! I remembered seeing this live and didn't really get what was going on, but I loved Flare's cackling and I could tell Kanata's tsukkomi were on point lmao
Congratulations! You've made a discovery! Kanatan is just as fun to tease as Subaru, lmao. Thanks for the translation and hard work! Ah, I'm glad Kanatan isn't as shy as she was back then, now she shoots back when people tease her. She's grown so much... *Sob* she's such a degenerate... It's enough to make a man cry... Right Yagoo? *Yagoo dry's his tears with a hundred dollar bill.*
I want to study in Kanata's school too! Where do I sign up? Kanata's _tsukkomi_ is indeed on point, who would have known that she's a genius at being a straight man xD
I was laughing so hard during Livestream. JP bros proceed to bully her to continue with the school jokes after they left. The chat continues the trend for hours in her next Minecraft building stream. This is pure comedy.
@@zbigbozbboy5245 that's what a Schloss is. A building meant to look like a fortified building but actually isn't. A castle is a military institution that is also the private property and residence of a local lord. A fortress is a military institution owned by a government. These are seriously fortified buildings , some of them are so much so that they're practically impossible to breach in medieval terms. Castles as I said we're residences of rulers who ruled over a certain amount of land and fortresses were meant to guard trade routes , river passings , borders etc. A Schloss is neither of those things. The look of a castle symbolised (and to some degree , still does) power. For that reason people wanted their residences to look like castles. But since castles lost their practical application after cannons were brought to Europe by Turks (mostly , there was something called a star fort) , people saw no reason to make such complicated and expensive buildings , so they just copied the looks of them. That's what a Schloss is. Its not fortified , just meant to look like one.
i watch it in live at kanatan stream. this is so funny and my stomach hurts the entire time. kanata tsukomi really good omg. and the end of this video is have one last comedi that a zombie appear behind kanata fyi. btw thanks for clip it man.

Graduated from Kanata High will allow students to transfer directly to Asacoco Uni. Another funny thing is, this is exactly what I imagined a future school would be when I was a kid. Stay at home and go to the virtual world then go to virtual school.
