Small translation error: at 1:48 Kanata says “It would make my heart hurt more if I broke it than if I broke something like a trap.” For those who don’t know, traps in minecraft are a common way of automatically gathering resources. They usually follow a specific design and can be quite intricate, so (for example) if a creeper blew up next to one it can be quite a bit of work to fix. On the other hand, it *can* be fixed. Unlike a sculpture like the world tree, which was molded by hand. And thus cannot be easily replicated or restored to its original state.

I'm so proud of Fauna. This World Tree is the result of her endless hours of toiling and yapping. XD

The more time passes and the more progress is made, the more the tree becomes THE build of all time. It does not cease to amaze, like at all. Plus it gives us some excellent Fauna zatsus, so bonus there.

Fauna’s World Tree has always been the coolest project. It’s just so massive. I’m glad it’s progressed enough that it’s starting to get some real reactions.

I really hope she holds a grand opening celebration when it’s finished, and all the Holomems can come check it out. Also, I *really* hope she installs some sort of fire suppression system. Whether it’s some sort of triggered system with red stone and dispensers, or just some stations with chests filled with water buckets. Maybe she can contract with a construction company to build it.

Well, not alone. Kirin Co. has new recruits who helped with the construction while also getting a hand from her other employees. The new recruits kept falling from the tree but they got the hang of it eventually.

had an odd dream where some new jp holomem generation on their first tour of the server "as a prank" burn down faunas tree, resulting in the first and only full all holo en collab where they kick down the jp servers door and burn their entire server to the ground in fiery vengeance. both sad and supremely glorious.
