@@Coleymoleyart Bad stat alocation, not desing. If you run directly towards him at base level is decent enough, they should have given him better HP or resistances
'Fastest' runback would be taking the shortcut opened up by the Servants of Chaos covenant (though I think you can just open it normally from the Izalith side), but even then it's a good 5 minutes of running.
The best (worst) thing about this boss is that it doesn't matter if you're level 100000092838377 or lvl 1, she will kill you if you don't know how to move against her
Go just below the bed of chaos. Bring a bow to aim precisely at the two intersecting branches on either side of the boss, throw a firebomb, and then quickly do the same for the other side. The bed of bullshit is symmetrical so the same intersecting branch can be seen. After that, two glowing balls should be destroyed. Rush your way to the bug and destroy it. Or just skip this boss by wrong-warping at the Firelink Altar, to get to the Kiln of the First flame
I just used a great shield the block the arms so I won't get slapped around. A million times easier than rolling. The only annoying part of this boss is the run to the boss room when you mess up.
@@Ilovenazism nah both that kinda frustration or a bit off to do, not worth it though. just legit go to the left, bonk, quit, join, go to the right, repeat, go to the middle and bonk, 1 tattempt easy
I remember the first time I fought Bed of Chaos, I already heard lots of people mention it was terrible but I beat it on my 4rd attempt and didn't think it was so bad. Played DS Remastered a while ago and took nearly a dozen tries and I realized I just got really lucky when I played through the game originally.
As someone who started playing Dark Souls because of Kanatan I also used that gear, but only because I like the edgy look. As soon as I got the dark knight armor I only wore that set
I won first attempt on them helped by Solaire, but honestly as a lucha libre fan I can't imagine doing that solo when I can make an eeeeeelimination TAG TEAM MATCH!!!!!
To this day, Bed of Chaos is my least favorite FromSoft boss bar none. The one which I know better than to underestimate is Capra Demon. FromSoft's skinny dogs are a force of nature.
Bed of chaos, all dogs in entire souls saga (except Sif), basilisk, the jailer and grave warden in untended grave from DS3, hammer drakekeeper, alonne knights, and archdrake pilgrim from DS2, fk them all..
Yea it was really cool, as a clip watcher to see the clip of her struggling to even move and having no idea what the game expected of her against the first encounter with asylum demon. To seeing a clip of her where a hollow closed a door for her, and she just looked so confident like what she knew what she was doing. The 180 was super cool to see
Nah, not just for her. I'm sure there are people who will say they had an easy time with it, since it's not so much a "fight" as it is a puzzle. But even those would be hard pressed into telling you they had a *fun* time with Bed of Chaos. Didn't surprise me to learn Lost Izalith was barely finished content.
As does everyone else. It is terrible for a game built entirely around combat skill to forget the whole design philosophy and make it about hyper-jank platforming.
This boss triggered many PTSD and rage among Dark Souls players, but it never came to me because somehow I always be blessed by the RNG God whenever I fought this Turd of Chaos.
One of the few boss where having more armor is actually a disadvantage. I legit having PTSD fighting this bed of bullshit, have to retry around probably 27 times, before I decided 'fuck it!' and go full naked run to increase my mobility and beat it on 1st attempt
Well she didn't know what to do and had to figure it out on the fly. In my first playthrough I'd already looked up a guide and still had to try like ten times or more to get the roll right and not get swiped. She's making good time but that boss is hella annoying.
The bed of chaos is what made me quit the game for a couple months. I never upped my stats in health and wore maiden robes, so it would always one shot me. I would also be yeeted off the platform or miss the jump 99% of the time. Of course when I tried it a couple months later I killed him the first try
Last year I finally finished my first deathless run and oh boy, I think I had 100 failed attempts on this garbage ass boss, because it pulled random ass bulshit in every single attempt.
Deservedly the most broken boss in the series. This is the type of which it is impossible to pass the first time playing for the first time. Or rather the first 3 times. And all because it is not clear where the floor will be broken, the fire can burn you even on the descent to the boss, the boss loves to throw you into the pit. The most correct way: undress completely, take off your weapon and enjoy the process
Idk how I got so lucky my first playthrough but I beat BOC on my second try, I didn't even realize you could get stuck like and have to parkour with ds1 jumping. Poor gorilla tenshi.
Okay I hate the boss but kinda disagree. It would be so much worse if it didn't instantly die. The fight was the bullshit gimmick before you get to the bug. I think it's only unsatisfying bc the whole fight is so tilting.
Consider it a blessing it dies in one hit, and you don't have to fight a whole other boss while getting spammed with Firestorm, and then having to jump to the entrance again if you die.
@@donnyboi6763 Of course that's why it's unsatisfying. You don't even get to wail on it like the weird last boss in Demon's Souls to make it suffer. It just kind of gives up instantly after putting you through all that bullshit.
👼🏻🦍 beat Ornstein & Smough in under 30 mins, made it through Londo archers 1st try but got ruthlessly destroyed again & again by the Bed of Chaos lol. Honestly cant blame her cause that boss absolutely sucks if you don't know what to do
Ah the worst boss in all of Fromsoft history. I hope whoever worked on making this thing steps on a lego in the middle of the night. For their remaining existence.
i say without an ounce of shame, that every replay, i just cheese this boss. No reason to do it legit. Not even bragging rights. I struggled once and once was enough!
This is perhaps the most annoying and incomprehensible boss of the whole franchise. I don't now how somebody could beat it without a guide. With not shame I just use the cheese. Never tried to do it in the expected way. Is just a waste of time.
How is this different from other players? The most notorious difficulties in the first one are the roof archers, Ornstein & Smough, Four Kings, Bed of Chaos, and Gwyn. Bed of Chaos most certainly is responsible for a very very large portion of player deaths. Gwyndolin and the Hellkite Dragon (if you fight him in the first half of the game) would probably come next. Everything in the DLC of course is a step above in difficulty.
Well, she cleared the archers on her first attempt and didn't struggle with O&S. Don't think the Four Kings took her that many attempts either. I assume that's what the time is referring to.
