Kanazawa was such a wonderful surprise to us! Not on the regular list for most tourists, we fell in love with this characterful "Castle City" with its acres of park and gardens, old world geisha district, uber modern 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and hi-tech Shinkansen station.

Incredible Museum. Yes, I remember the japanese toilets! A very impressive city! Wow, love the performances! And the Kimonos!
