My husband was prescribed Mounjaro (he was pre-diabetic from weight gain) and he’s lost a lot of weight, but he also changed his diet and worked out. The fat melted off of him. These can help you but not if you continue the same pattern.

Totally agree! It can definitely help, especially if you commit to a complete lifestyle change to improve your overall health. My girlfriend has a severe case of endometriosis and was prescribed Ozempic as she became pre-diabetic due to weight gain. Before she started taking Ozempic, she tried everything but her condition made it 100x more difficult to lose weight. Ozempic didn’t only help her lose weight but it helped relieve discomfort from endo, which allowed her to be more active in the gym and she was able to lose a lot of weight. It certainly has positive side effects depending on your situation but there are too many lazy mfs that aren’t taking these drugs for its intended use.

⁠@@TrashScientistI am happy to hear that it worked out for your girlfriend! I defiantly have even seen an improvement of his mental health as well. It’s not meant for long term use unless you are diabetic of course! But I was on him to get it together because it’s also very expensive even with assistance from our insurance company. I also have endo and I’m happy to hear she got relief from that! I know how horrible that can be. Working out and eating right definitely helped me.

If you've been blessed to carry &birth a human, you would understand. Honestly, that's how my family found out before I did fr. Picture it: 2001, after church serving food. My Diva Aunt & I were in the back cleaning up. I feel a tap on my shoulder, she said niece are you ok? I said yeah why? She said, valley girl you pregnant. Your whole face was inside the bowl Mekea. The pasta salad is gone. Wiping my mouth with the back of my hand(I never did that before), picked pieces of noodle & tomatoes off my forehead bc apparently I turned the bowl upside down to literally lick the bowl 😂😂. I said Auntie, this pasta salad is soooo good. It smells good. I want some more. Than realized, I was eating like a monster. My grandma asked if I was in the family way, so I scooted to another seat, & told her she can get through. Then bust out crying. Yeah. Pregnant hit different

I’m taking ozempic now and I have the same issue. I’m not losing weight however my A1C has went from a 13.8 to a 7 in two months. I didn’t even know that the Ozempic was helping people to loose weight. I only got it because Trulicity was always on a backlog. I can say it does help with diabetes though.

Thats strange. I could hardly eat anything when i took it years ago. It plateaus after a while. You have to go up on the dose to get the appetite suppression.

@@TheQueenrevolution honestly I’m a type 1 diabetic. I’m not even supposed to take it but after years of my A1C being ridiculously high, being on an insulin pump, and being 280lbs. My endocrinologist said let’s try the Trulicity. But after getting that it was always backlogged. So we switched. I do have the suppressed appetite now, but I don’t see no weight leaving. I’m taking 2 mg now. But by the end of the week oh my appetite definitely comes back 😂🤦🏾‍♀️

I got on it and I only lost 20lbs so I stopped using it. I changed my diet and been working out. I’m doing it the natural way I shouldn’t have even used it to begin with.

@@excaliber8713 No they don't. Just GI side effects i.e., mild nausea, constipation (managed with mild laxatives) and rarely diarrhea. Not coming for you but wish folk who have no interest or needs for these meds would stop pushing the media's narrative. Some of us have studied GLP 1 meds and we actually know what to expect and having amazing results while exercising, eating clean and making changes that we could NOT do without them. Obesity is a disease. Not a choice.

Im a diabetic on Ozempic lost weight too fast. Had to give away alot of nice clothes. I can actually feel my tail bone when I sit down. I did not work out much as the weight dropped so im slim but body not toned. It worked tho. I suggest building muscle while on ozempic so that you don't get that soggy look.

It didn't work for me either. But I found out it depends on the dosage. Doctors want to start you off with a small dosage and work its way up. But the high dosage is when people lose weight. Wegovy and Mounjaro are better.

Sorry, this information regarding Kandi is not correct. These meds work and she probably did not get good instructions from her doctor on how to make these hormone shots effective. I saw Tamika Scott go to the doctor and get her meds and the doctor did a poor job telling her all the specifics. These celebrities aint serious like us real folk out here who have a diagnosis of obesity. Fat shaming is not cool and I really want CTG to think about this more before he continues to refer to obese people as "Big backs". Just a suggestion. Would you call someone with Cancer "Dead man walking"? I sure you wouldn't. So please stop using this term. Some of us have a metabolic deficiency and definitely do not eat as much as you do.

People don't just check the back seat every time they get in. But to her discredit, I would definitely notice whole a** body in my back seat even without looking. Or at least smell it.
