I'm sure this will get overlooked, but let's remember those who didn't have families to come home to. When I came back from deployment, there wasn't anyone to pick me. I had to put on a smile and hold back the tears while everyone else was being greeted. One of the hardest moments of my life.

To any person who has served, from the bottom of my heart and deepest reaches of my soul, thank you. For everything that you've done to help your country, and all the sacrifices that you've made. To all the families that are going through or have had a parent or older sibling go off and fight, thank you for being strong when you felt like breaking down. They came home/will come home. And thank you to anyone who's read this!

This song hits home. These soldiers give up so much for us, we need to stand strong for them, like they do us. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

My husband always said to "welcome everyone that came home, even if I was just right behind them." I did and so blessed to have a bigger military family! WE appreciate you and all who fought. It's crazy what a hug can do!

My dad was in the U. S. Navy for 20 years and I remember the times when he would come home from wherever he was stationed and I would search the crowd to see him and then run to jump in his arms. I totally understand the families that wait for their loved ones to come home. And although my dad has passed away now, I look forward to his warm embrace when I see him in Heaven. Very good song. This song make me cry every time. My son is serving a 3 years overseas assignment. Seen him 2 times in the last 3 years. He is coming to Ft Riley, KS this fall... hopefully he can come home for the holidays. Proud mom to a US Army Sgt 💙 🇺🇸

I was watching videos and eating steak leftovers from last night's family reunion. Now I have heard this song many times, but had never seen this video. I have to admit that I had to stop eating, because I couldn't swallow. I've seen these folks returning home, firsthand. I was one coming home and there is nothing that can describe seeing your family, that you have been away from for so long. Seeing your baby for the first time. For one of my fellow Marines, it was seeing his father, for the last time, because 2 days after returning, his father had a heart attack. Had we been 2 days later, he would have only been attending a funeral. Never underestimate how hard it is for the family that is left behind, when someone deploys.

No matter how many years pass, this song will stay in our hearts forever!💖

Did not expect that voice out of that body. Loved it...tears welled up. I don't listen to country on any kind of regular basis, but it has a special place in my heart because of my Dad. Lost him 6 months ago to colon cancer at age 61. Miss him like crazy. Watching this brought back those feelings and helped me feel immense gratitude for all my brothers and sisters (because that's what ya'll are!)-- and their families -- who serve this country on behalf me, my family, and MILLIONS of others. Every time I hear this song my eyes tear up. My youngest daughter is Navy and is on a double pump deployment right now. This has become our deployment song. It was played (quite loudly) when she came home last year and will be done so again in the near future when her ship returns from this one. She will know where her old momma is at when she hears this song!!!! Can’t wait for that much needed hug!!!!!

I am ex-military and a 12 year cancer survivor. I wish I could make your concert. This is 2 days before my birthday. My wife has a fatal genetic disorder and it makes it hard for her to travel. She graduated from LFO in 2001 and both my daughters have a 50% chance of having the same disorder. They will graduate from Ridgeland in Rossville, GA - Brooklyn in 2028 and Fayth in 2030. a lot of people hate kane brown I actually really enjoy his music and to see his appreciation for the troops really makes me happy I'm finishing up a rotation in Qatar here soon and I'll finally be back home with my wife and kids after spending 3 years in germany away from them coming home for 3 months and being sent to Qatar to be away from them for a year. so this song really hits me hard because I'm insanely homesick I can't wait to get home and hug my wife and kids and meet the new puppies we got while I've been away.
