I seem to remember Mick Foley pulled that on The Rock once. Rock had won the WWE championship or something and Foley asked him how did it feel being champion. Rock starts to answer and Foley says "It doesn't matter how you feel!", jumps out of the ring and takes a victory lap high fiving fans at ringside.
@@carlrevans When you told this your friends they wont belive you. Can was always serious. They have to wait till next week if you speaking the truth. Yes people we don't have you tube back in the days.
I bet Glen was so stoked for this promo. Especially since Kane started out as a mute. He ran with the opportunity to outshine 2 of the greatest talkers in the history of wrestling.
@@sweetjoey2 It was easy. As big of an egomaniac as Hogan is, he probably saw no humour in another guy getting over using his shit, even if it was in a comedic way.
Its called kayfabe only the real held to it. Kinda like jimmy jey and solo in the ring not so good, but behind the scenes they family and taking pictures at the anoai family reunion😂
Yes, it's called the power of dubbing/editing. They simple have Lawler record the line in advance, put a bit of crowd noise in the background, and there you go... @@carlosmolina6389
There are a few people in interviews who said that Kane was actually probably the strongest guy on the roster. Which is insane when you realize Mark Henry, Big Show, John Cena, Batista and Brock Lesnar were all on rosterd with him
This is the greatest skit in WWE history 😂 never gets old watching it. Knowing Hogan and Rock had no idea Kane was going to do that makes it that much better
@@aryetheking I know how wrestling works. But in this specific case, Kane improvised his lines. Hogan and Rock had no idea Kane was going to do any of that and it showed by their genuine facial reactions. That’s something he either came up with all on his own or him and Vince came up with it to mess around with them 2. Either way this was legendary
@@aryethekingyeahh you know all about them huh.. your source? trust me bro.. Fyi most of the wwe superstar improv their speaches,my source? Wikipedia..
Mine was the intro to No Mercy 2002. Undertaker, fueding with Champ Brock Lesner, broken hand, Hell in a Cell match that night, sits stoic on a locker room bench. Kane, title shot at HHH that night, enters and sits down. Kane: "So. How was your week?" Taker just stares at him.
@@therealityofitall4819yeah and it sucks today... That time you had a lighthearted skit like this , the very next day you would see the Undertaker crucifying Austin... The very next day you would see Kurt angle pouring milk on everyone... The very next day you would see edge making love with lita in the middle of the ring .. the very next day would see Dx asking someone in the crowd to get their tits out... The very next day you would see mick Foley putting a sock in someone's mouth... Entertainment was at its peak brother... You never knew what you were going to get... But nowadays everyone looks the same talks the same cuts the same promos...and has the same old boring feuds .. if thats entertainment to ur generation...who am I to complain?... Keep enjoying...lol
I got to meet Kane back when he was doing radio promotion for upcoming live events while he was recovering from an injury back in the early 2000's and he was a very well spoken greatful interview... I remembered thinking it was a joke that they were sending Kane until he actually showed and showed out...
Single handedly one of the best and surprising promos of all time. Kane just threw down a goat promo wit 2 of the best mic workers of all time. That's all u need to know.
"Whoop candy ass" I love it with the kanennites being said by Lawler and the rock saying it under his breath it is funny and what cha gonna do?..... great video to check out. 😎
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are gold standard of commentary. You don't need to watch a show but just listen to their commentary and be equally entertained and fall in love with the product.
I was never into wrestling but whenever I went over friends houses I loved hearing stone colds glass breaking entrance. Kane. And “are you ready -bump- -bump- “ I think it was d generation X or something? Good times
