Also, Jason tortured kaneki (the main character) to the point his hair turned white. Not only that but as a part of his torture, Jason inserted an actual fucking centipede into Kaneki's ear. When this show came out it was one of the darkest things i have ever watched/read besides berserk. Dead ass

The creator of Tokyo Ghoul (Sui Ishida) much like Gege Akutami(Jujutsu Kaosen creator) is the former assistant of Yoshihiro Togashi(Yu YunHakusho/Hunter X Hunter) & we with Togashi made a Hisoka one-shot manga.I'm glad I'm not the who wanted more Tokyo Ghoul Nerdcore raps.Also thank you also mentioning the main issues with the TokyomGhoul anime.Although it was more than likely a production thing because anime/mangan aren't allowed to be near each other in story otherwise it effects the production of said anime.This the OG Fruits Basket /FMA anime's problem.

Well tbh the torture scene in the anime was pretty brutal in its own way definitely not as brutal but it definitely was a horror to see… it honestly made me happy when Ken finally snapped and sad fuck this shit lmfao

I personally liked the anime for tokyo ghoul haven't read the manga but ken kaneki's voice actor. I thought was really good at least for the English dub (i have not watched the sub) but if the manga is way better i might read it. Because the anime is in my top 5 to top 10 animes ive ever seen so yeah.
