He sang this song for audition in singing competition "Phantom Singer 2", before Forestella was formed (note: this video is not the audition version). He was not a classical singer or had any educational background on music, but rather a singer in an amateur rock band. Auditioning for Phantom Singer 2 was his last attempt to pursue the musical career, because at that time he worked as a chemical engineer. After succesfully entered the competition, he met with other members of Forestella. The group was formed for the Final Round, and they won 1st place. So I guess this song would definitely important & meant something to him.
Hyungho did a brilliant job here. Like Marcelito Pomoy or Dimash he doesn't need a duet partner to sing a male and female part. PITTA was originally the name of his former amateur rock band during his high school days. Now he uses this name as a solo artist. He has released his own albums called "ID: PITTA" and "Be Free". He sings rock and covers metal songs e.g. from Nightwish. Hi thanks for the reaction. If you want to hear Pitta singing in his proper tenor voice listen to the song Parla Piu Piano, There is a part in there where he took my by surprise. Another of his songs that l like is Too much love will kill you, its a rendition of one of Queen's songs there are no fireworks in terms of highs and lows only solid emotional singing.

I used to think of the Phantom as a tragic figure, a physically deformed child rejected and shunned by the world despite his musical talent who secretly falls in love but ends unrequited. The way Hyung Ho interprets this character, the Phantom is a much more sinister character; a stalker who kidnaps Christine and tries to brainwash her, not so nice, more of a Svengali type. As for the performance, he is definitely dressed for the part; but these days, he performs this in ripped jeans and a denim jacket, easy-peasy.
