people say that soojin is a bad person but they don't understand that she never had a loving family or a seojun and suho to save her from her father's violence. She is just a girl who had never received love from anyone and ended up predicting herself in this toxic relationship with suho, she’s not just a cliché character in a drama, but the reflection of many girls who live this reality

She’s actually very misunderstood. She’s not just a cliche character who was close with the main role then tried bringing her down there’s a lot more to the story. Imagine being compared to someone who is your Bestfriend of 10 years and your crush, by your own father and he says you’re not good enough on top of that he abuses you at home and your mom can’t really help you. You don’t tell anyone this because you don’t want to be seen as a broken person. But the only people you told were your 10 year Bestfriend or crush and your friend. But then the two people you tell fall in love with each other and start dating. Two people you loved got feelings for each other. Your crush is dating your Bestfriend and you already have enough going on at home that now it feels like you have no body. What Soojin did was far from right but you can’t blame her, she wasn’t in the right mental state. She tried doing something which would make her feel better but it just made her worse. Soojin really deserves a better ending

Honestly for me soojin was the best character in this show,you’ll understand when you’ll experience it.She is so strong.

The part that disturbs me the most is that Suho knew about soojin being abused but ignored her and payed more attention to jukyung when soojin was the one who needed help the most

why are y'all really mad at her. imagine yourself being abused by your father meanwhile no one knows about it except a friend that you had for 10 years so that's why she saw suho as a kind of savior figure for her. if you just know what she's been through you would do the same. you wouldn't want your only love to be stolen from you. not really that good in english...

she is not a bad person.. she was broken.. having family issues and watching her crush dating her bestie is so hard. as they say.. you will never understand them until you walk in their shoes.

honestly 1:44-1:54 was my favorite scene in that whole episode. soojin felt so powerful in that scene and she finally found the strength to fight back against her father. unfortunately she was immediately beaten down by her classmates when they found out the truth behind her actions and broke down again and UGH SOOJIN NEEDS LOVE!

Most of y’all will probably think I’m evil but I seriously like SooJin so much more than Jugyeong. SooJin is so much more stronger and resilient. Think about it. If your crush whom you have like for ages suddenly started liking and dating your friend, would you be a pure little angel and move on peacefully? I think not lol.

if there is a season two i really hope it focuses on soojin and seojun. jugyeong and suho found their happy ending but seojun and soojin are still broken.

Honestly I can understand why she turned out the way she did. The only person she had for years was Suho. When one else was there for her, he was. He knew about her father hitting her and that made her feel like he was some sort of savior to her. Then this girl comes out of nowhere and takes him from her (or at least that’s how she saw it) It doesn’t justify what she did of course but heartbreak does things to people. I’m just hoping she gets a good ending cause she was honestly my favorite character before all this.

The two scenes that broke everyone's heart is seeing seojun crying alone in middle of the staircase and seeing Kang soojin crying alone under of nowhere

I keep watching this kdrama over and over again like 😖 and many people think she's the villain but actually she helped jueyoung over come her fear by leaking her past photos everyone thought she was evil but she's dealing with her dad as well and the next day jueyoung actually went to school with no makeup if it weren't for soojin jueyoung would be in the same position soojin in my perspective is a a brave and courageous girl♡ and hear me out if any girls her age were to go into her shoes they would do the same to jueyoung

She is the one who have the true beauty

I will never ever hated her, why should I? When she's the most realistic character in the whole drama. From the very beginning till the end, she value her friendship with Ju Kyung. Come on, she's become like that because she mistook Su Ho behavior towards her (for her whole life, only Su Ho who understands her, saw her at her lowest point, and she saw him as some soft of saviour, she had no one but Su Ho), everything she did was wrong tho. But please place yourself at her perspective for once. Writer sucks, she deserves her own happy ending (and I wouldn't mind if she ended up with Seo Jun thoo, they would make a very great couple 😎😎)

The reason i like soojin much better than jugyeong, is because when she got abused and bullied by her OWN family, she didn't let that become her weakness and stayed strong and resistant and finally got over it at the end (WITHOUT GETTING ANY LOVE/SYMPATHY ALONGSIDE WHATSOEVER) while jugyeong on the other hand, when she got bullied at school, it became her weakness, and thought she couldn't overcome it without anyone's support... although she got both the boy's love along with a loving family, it took her literally years to overcome it.. she had everyone's love/sympathy while soojin had no one... 💔

Everyone is hating her on this drama but nobody sees her pain and reason why she is doing like that I love her

There is a fact,she is a good actrees.Her facial expressions and acting skills amazed me while watching drama.I hope we can see her in another drama as a main cast😊

The thing about the drama is this has different POV for each character. Jugyeon’s is being bullied than finding best friends. Sooho’s is not having a good family than losing your best friend than aparting from your other best friend and living in guilt Seojun losing his best friend and getting apart from you other best friend. Your first love falling in love with your best friend. Soojin’ is being abused by your father. Your love loving your friend . Everyone against you That’s why I like them all 😔

Soojin is tbh my favourite character, even though she was horrible to Jugyeong. If her father didn’t abuse her and didn’t raise her the way he did this probably didn’t happen. I’m happy that at the end they’re friends again :) Soojin deserves love

being a side character sucks. people either hate you or wanted you out of the show. they never understand your story because their attention is all focused on the main character. she deserved better.

I really wanted to enter the drama and give soo Jin a very warm hug cause she deserves it. Of course it was her choice whether or not to hurt jugyeong but what could a girl with broken mind and heart probably do? Her soul is very precious. And I really loved the acting Park yoona did, she acted really well as soo Jin.

although they changed many things from the webtoon, I was hoping they wouldn't make her bad. and although i can sympathize with her problems, I am glad her classmates are now seeing the real her because she needs to learn that just because she is in pain does not mean she can't put others in pain

I really feel like Suho failed her, he knew what was going on for a long time yet he didn’t even really help her, but he said that she was his friend, if that was your friend you should had helped her escape her abusive relationship with her father, you should had been someone to teach her that she is ok and that she don’t always have to be number one, that she can lean on anybody and express her feelings, but no he barely cared. I’m not saying all of this Is his fault, of course not but he could had help her with her pain. And this is not an excuse for her actions but we have to look at it not from a oh I like the female lead but from all povs, she never learned how to be ok for who she is, she was always pushed to be number one, if she would had someone to let her know that she perfect for who she is she wouldn’t have developed such habits

I don't think that Soojin didn't have a happy ending coz just ending up with a boy and getting that clichéd relationship isn't only a happy ending. She got rid of her abusive dad, she found out where she was wrong, she apologized to her friend, they were best friends again, she got to do what she actually loved...all this is happy ending!!❤️

I can relate to her so much, I had 2 bestfriends whom I trusted and I was always there for both of them, they were both soo special, but suddenly they became really really close and I felt left out, and so stressed about that situation they would do things without me and have insiders on top of that i had my own stressful life my grades and my controlling family, that was the moment when i fucked up, because I was overwhelmed by everything I thing i may have done some bad things and I was so fucking rude to my friends, even tho they didn’t do anything Wrong but they hurted me unintentionally but still, soojin is the same but on top of that she likes suho. I think I would have done the same maybe I am a bad person but I can understand every step she took, maybe I would have done even worse. She is human, don’t lie to yourself if you believe that you would have stayed friends with them, if you were in her place, you would feel betrayed too.
