Priyanka, wow! What a voice!! I just bumped into this song. I was in my early teens when this film, Karnan, came out in 1964. This song always touched my heart, with all the teenage feelings, dreams & expectations - a special meaning attached to it. I did watch this film many times, especially for the songs, this one & other songs. Every time I hear this song, I would imagine Susheela Amma, my favourite female singer and Devika Amma & Shivaji sir, my favourite pair in Tamil films. Your brilliant voice was enhanced by the other ladies besides you and of course the background musicians, nothing is complete without them & their support.
