I went to this final, was unbelievable, I thought we (England) were gonna do it and as always back then in the 00s we’d be doing so well and last 15 mins Aussies would turn it on when it mattered - this time is was Greg Inglis - unbelievable player. For us, Burgess put in a brilliant performance too! Announced himself to the Aussies !

Anyone else notice how poor these commentators are? They seem to regularly call a play/try with certainty only to backtrack after they see a replay

My favorite parts of this game were tom burgess' try, and Inglis' try in the 24th minute it was a good one.
