mine arrived this morning .. so far so good

Just got mine today. Overall I'm very impressed. I bought the original, and it's also a great little simple mod. The improvements are vast , and in my opinion much needed. Even with the flaws of the original it had become my go to mod. I love the squonk. I use mine with my Velocity v2 clone with the squonking pin. Much better flavor in my opinion. One tip to anyone who buys this kit. The rda that comes with it isn't bad, but not great on flavor. What I did is rip out the coils that came with it and install my own. The airflow holes are quite high up on the sleeve so the vape comes off very cool and kind of dry. When I replaced the coil I raised them up so that the bottom of the coil is in line with the air flow. This greatly improved the flavor and helped the vapor density. Hello Dean! Awesome job on your review of the DB160. Kangertech needs to QC their products for accuracy and longevity. I'd use the dripbox for a at home beater and use a mech squonk mod to carry about. I love how the metal feed tube works with the bottle. Nice design.

looking to upgrade the squonk bottle for this due to a plastic taste that know one talks about is there anything better that will fit it?....... maybe a full SKD SS FULL SILICONE Squonk Bottle ?

Got mine in a few days ago along with some of the new notch coils. Haven't tried it with any of the included coils but with the notch coils in it is simply fantastic! When vaping the notch coils on SUS temp control I DO have to crank the temp up about 50F over my normal settings. However in wattage mode it is spot on. LOVE the squonking on this guy. My reo is finally getting dusty after all these years. :)/:(

My Hastur v2 works on my DripBox 160, though I got mine from GearBest so I don't know if it's a clone RDA or not. Probably is, I should check. Works great though so I have no complaints. Got the Stainless mod and RDA and they look great together, also using dual stainless steel claptons (0.16 ohm) on it in temp control mode (SS wire rocks) with ReadyXwick ceramic wick (unfortunately that wick can't leave the USA or I'd recommend it to you). It's ok for my first quad-core I guess it would be okay I would like to have something that I can run a RTA on maybe like an ex baby something like that I would prefer a box that has a board in it that you can just adjust your wattage and stuff

Yes you are right meant to write RDA not RTA. I am trying to find medium quality as do not really have a top end budget but not for the Kanger as have a vape flask squonker but not purchased a atty to go on it yet, also have the original K-box and looking to get another type soon.

What do you think about the 6 clicks on/off ?

I got this Dripbox 160 and I am loving the vaping experience I am getting from it. Only for the fact that I feel its the best E-Cig I have bought this far.

Looks like I need to get this one. I've been wanting to drip for a long time, but I can't commit to the hassle of it. Thisbthing solves that. Not happy about the red buttons though, it looks so much better with the black ones, lile on the outside of the box. I wonder if the white or silver version has them as well :/

Guess you had your weet-a-bix this morning, three reviews in one day! I am fairly new to squonking but love it, could you possibly do a few name drops for decent Squonker RTA'S as I am struggling to find many to choose from?

I got the steel one yesterday and I can actually make out a hinge or small indentation for the squonk bottle cap as the light reflects off the metal; perhaps it just doesn't show well on the black version?

I got one today. I want to use it with some ni200 coios. can I safely do so even though you can't lock in the resistance?

Hey guys, just wondering if anybody knew if this mod would work with a tank like a Uwell Crown as long as I remove the squonk box. Just in case I want a break from messing with RBAs etc. Thanks

Hey nice review. Can you explain what is MTL and the difference with DL?

Why does it being 160w make it, not a starter kit? If anything, not including batteries is what would take it off the "start kit" list imo. And i assume it means it's a starter kit for squonking. Kanger has never been the very clear when it comes to labeling/naming their devices, unfortunately.

Dean i am having a bit of a problem with mine. No matter what other atty i use...and the build in them from .4 to .7 only shows .3 on this KT 160....and i swear i really have to up the watts to get the same vape i am getting on my Sigelei 100 at 30 watts ???

What squonkin' atty works best on this that you've tried so far Dean ? Solid review btw

Would you recommend for an all day, every day mod? looks a bit bulky for the old pockets

as a wattage only (as I prefer and only vape as) dual 18650 squonker, would you say it was worth it in respect to being able to fire convincingly around the 50-100 watt area? especially for say £31.81 pence? free p&p 10 day delivery (hehe) :D ~cough~ ft ~cough~

i am worried that if i get leaks from the Atty , liquid will make its way down from those seams on top to the internals

This mod is a great bang for the buck "REGULATED" TC Squonker that can be purchased today at Gearbest for under $40 on a FLASH sale. No it's not top shelf but...for a TC/duel battery/safety features/regulated SQOUNKER Mod where can you beat that price and drop it in a mud puddle without breaking the bank. Better than smoking cigarettes any day....so Vape on my Friends and Vape Safely !!!

hey there dean...scooter here...interesting review... kanger dont quite get it right do they? but bless em they do try so hard! hehe... please kanger...adjustable wattage in tc mode..a hinge on the bottle door... 120w max? most squonking people dont do high wattage anyway.. perhaps a "dripbox 2" single 18650 size like the first dripbox with a display...and in the stainless steel finish...then I would be very interested.... cheers mate..good review as always....

Not a bad mod. I threw that shit RDA away though. Use a Velocity V2 or Goon or you know a "good un" on it and its not half bad at all.
