Welcome back Papa ,Alex. Oh My.... each Kanilea uke you presented I was thinking, yup that's the one I'd want to own... so many sexy ukes there. One can but dream! Thanks to Covid-19 I am not in Hawaii right now as I had planned. Hopefully next year ..
Nice to see you back, Alex! Hope you had a lovely time with your new baby :). Those ukes are all so beautiful. Maybe someday I'll be fortunate enough to have to choose amongst them LOL, but for now I can love things about all of them :).
Congratulations on the new addition -- and on taking all that paternity leave! I hope you got plenty of hands-on experience. As to these ukes -- what gems! Of course my favourite is the KCS-C, and of course I can't afford it, but then neither will I ever be good enough to do it justice, so there's that.
Welcome back and congratulations on the new family member! One day I will own that KCS concert. I have a K1 Concert which is superb but I don't like the basic Kanile'a tuners very much because there's not much room on the tuner posts for wrapping a lot of string around it, so I really want that slotted headstock. That's basically the only niggle I've noticed on a Kanile'a.
Congrats on the newborn. I hope you are going to teach him some musical skills in a few years time 🙂. Luckily I have a KC1 of my own so didn't miss it in this lineup as I hear it most days in my own ( inexpert) hands. If I were to choose one from this lineup ( as you suggest ) it would be the KCSC 1. I've always been a suckered for a slotted heastock and those stealth tuners, whoa so sleek. Of course being Kanile'a you can't really go wrong as they all sound and feel top notch. As I'm sure you remember I also have a Ko'aloha with a long kneck bought from you earlier this year as I missed out on the Kanile'a used one you had in stock. If you ever get another then that's my pick as I'd like the pair. Still mustn't be greedy 😉.
Aloha! Thanks for checking. Honu much like Ohana and Aloha is one of those words that translates internationally. I even have a regular customer with a pet turtle named honu. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🤙
