I entered a Kansas barn loaded with vintage automotive antiques . Old automotive oil cans, advertising signs, tools , gas station giveaways, wiper display, and other treasures. I spent over three hours pulling stuff out of this old barn loaded with antique treasures. I need to return sometime and buy the vintage car and truck parts scattered throughout the barn including old car grills, license plates, air filter housings, automotive emblems . This time I was focused on oil cans and signs.

Great honey hole Rob. Watch out for spiders ! I picked up a pump in the dark and brought it home. Next morning went to unload it and was greeted by black widow spiders .

That John Deere piece was probably off an actual tractor hood. Hot dang you missed the John Deere coffee cup in the cabinet...right there around 8 minutes. LOL. There were many many cans I've not seen before. Just THINK of all the covered stuff you couldn't see !! Right at 11:54 as you were climbing over the pile, did you see the International Harvester tool box off an old tractor..? That was in good shape !! Tell me you managed to save the Ford training vids. I didn't see the blue box in the overview. But man o man you made a HAUL !! That dude had some stuff. Makes me want to back a dumpster in to my shop now. LOL Naw, I got too much good stuff up above the shed. FUN VIDEO and another one knocked plumb outta the park my Super Sleuthing friend !!

Good morning my friend. I keep watching this video and noticed different things I missed completely . I didn’t notice that coffee cup or toolbox 🧰. Oh my goodness what a great hunt . The hunt is not over yet - to be continued next time I’m out there. The training films will definitely be saved for a rainy day popcorn show haha. I simply ran out of time and space. It’s is still packed with stuff but unfortunately a tornado hit the barn about three weeks ago taking off the tin roof over half of the stuff. The owner told me no more climbing in that barn . He is going to salvage what he can . I will return next year and see what’s left. Thanks for visiting this video. It was a fun barn to scrounge in .

This is a very interesting video. It's like an episode of "American Pickers" except that the owner of the barn wasn't there to discuss the items and prices. It would've been interesting to see the price of some of the items, especially the signs. I was wondering if you buy all of this for your own collection, or do you plan to resell it?

G'day Rob. I noticed in the US you don't tend to grab the shell can's or 5 gallons gear. I see the signs a bit on the swap meet vids are they not as desirable. As i collect it here in Australia. Robby. 🇦🇺👍

Hello Robby, I appreciate your comment and interest in my video. I don’t understand why the five gallon cans don’t sell well here. I think they look fantastic hung from a garage rafter from a simple 16 penny nail. I have a whole mess of them now and I have kept a few nice ones for my collection. As far as Shell cans maybe I didn’t grab because it was composite/ cardboard and not metal??? I am not sure what you saw but I know I left a lot of cool stuff for next time I visit this incredible barn . 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍

That's a great camera touch at the end with the sunset and blending that into your gas pumps on the trailer. I like the Sinclair and and Conoco signs. I see you got an old Skelly sign. Those Farmers co-op cans or interesting the five gallon ones. I couldn't tell you how many of those I hold up as we're drilling for water. Or possibly going out to fill the tractor 🚜. They weren't just co-op cans they were various brands. It's a wonder why gas companies do not advertise that way anymore

Thanks for the compliment on the camera touch at the end. The owner of the property suggested a couple of Kansas sunset photos. I right away looked at the beautiful sunset and said great idea. He photographs sunsets as a hobby and he helped me out with photography etc. I bet you handled a lot of five gallon cans working on your equipment etc. they are handy regardless of graphics or age! No one has ever asked me this before. But I understand the curiosity. I must say the stuff itself was much less expensive than the fuel, motel fees, and food involved to get over to buy. So how much did I pay? Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
