Yoooooo! Our Bison Voodoo production made the cut (10:52) So cool! I’ve been watching your nyc videos for years and great to see you in KC. Shout out to Years and Scribe for always curating the best productions out here on the prairie!
I’m not into legal walls / really complex wild style stuff so I appreciate that you also lshow the cutty handstyles and bombing in abandoned areas. It’s hard to get a view of what everyone’s up to in the scene if you’re not doing a tour of half the US every year. Crews like REM seem to be able to maintain spots literally everywhere
Pretty much all of the Midwest despite not being destinations where anyone would normally wanna go are super heavy graff landmarks because of the heavy railroad traffic I’d assume.
Yeah buddy my backyard. My home. Only sad part is all these pieces you guys just saw were done in a city wide graffiti art show whatever you wanna call it. It’s Titled KC Masterpiece, like the bbq sauce 😂 😉 so basically all legal walls and pieces. Hardly you see actual random crews bombing out here unless it’s legal shit. And a lot old stuff that’s been running forever. Which is dope if you love history. Hood bro can make his way to the Paint Louis wall.
I was hyped to see the KC Masterpiece walls, alot of the walls appeared to have been lost also to the business/condo developments etc... same story in every city at this point. The only writer I actually knew from KC history was this guy COOKS, knew him in early 2000's in New York. I don't think he paints anymore but was looking for old pieces of his if there was any. Was there for literally 4 hours tho but glad I got to see a little bit of what's going on.
@@TheGraffitiWanderer Ha, Nice! First writer I met when I moved to KC in 2000 was Cooks (his name has changed numerous times since), but he is seriously talented, and now tattoos full time. I'm no longer living in KC, but awesome to see so many old pieces still running, including my Ceas/Phem collaboration @ 7:50 from around 2004.
That's some Kool Graff out in Kansas" who would of thought it would go this far ... I'm talking about Graffiti around the World 🌎 The ART has come a long way. From tags To Beautiful Styles of Art.
I try to capture natural sounds when possible… sometimes the wind gusts interfere and the whole audio aspect of doing an external mic is another level I took awhile back but might take the audio more serious soon again. Thanks for the feedback
