Came back here after the Jeezy comment on Drink Champs regarding the ad-libs he put on it and just the fact that It was initially Jeezy's song before Kanye eventually made it a classic song of his. Huge song this
@Jase Jase i just thought about this song this morning on my way to work and this line made me think he was talking about these fucking jews,i guess this nigga ain't crazy after all, we are the ones who's been lied to
u cant make a classic record today that literally goes against the definition of a classic.... classic: judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind. time has to go on then songs can be considered "classics"

I was in the eighth grade , this album made me feel comfortable being me more than any male figure in my scope at that time. Stoped looking to adults for approval and just started moving, adults started treating me different than most. I would not be the same person I am today if it were not for this album.
don't take nothin for granted. keep your head up and you likely still will be. but always remember, today might be your last day on earth, bump it like it's the last time you gonna hear it.
Welcome to this world YE Who all things are under control All the media all the theatre all the banks Zionist is everywhere since a long time Keep it real bro You are à legend who speak with your heart FREEDOM
I was not related to hip hop, only rock, metal, until I heard MBDTF, it is a brilliant work, I thought I had been a casual success that album, but gradually I listened to the rest of his discography and without hesitation, for me, he is the musical genius of recent times. Second to none.
He still in his prime few artist still relevant since the early 2000s even if a lot of people didn’t like JIK you got at least appreciate the production
rozusperelko Is their a Yeezus song more Yeezus than that? I think not. I almost consider Yeezus a different person then Kanye West. Yeezus is a level of pretentiousness I don't think I was even ready for.
The first time I heard this song was on the radio, in my car on a lunchbreak. I was struggling to hold things together as at the my dad was in hospital, and it was far from certain if he was going to come out. He didn't make it home. This song doesn't make me sad, or miss him anymore than normal. It's just a fond memory
He's a billionaire now. A perfect example of how far believing in yourself can get you. Big up Kanye, no matter if you like him or not, he is one of the most iconic artists of our generation. Hands down. ❤
it's a non liquid asset valued at $1.3 (or he says 3.3) in which he only owns 11% royalties (sales) anyway. It's a lot about image. They even call the paparazzi on themselves.. great song though. Seems like a nice guy. The persona is just a persona for sure. Like crazy or diva etc.

He was just asking on what he thinks Kayne is singing about. Some songs have a lot of messages, but Kayne is the only one that will know all of them and what he’s trying to express.
I think he saying once I milk the industry and get my money right and a following , he's gonna come back and use it against main stream filth.and do what he's doing now to get his message to as many people. And make people see society different
@@88baby14 actually you’re wrong, you can go look up how they met. Kanye had a crush on her and they were friends since 2003. Y’all love to say so much about someone y’all don’t even know, lmao go focus on your life
magicberu After listening Jesus is King, which it’s an amazing album, I wanted to listen again this old version of ye... But I’m liking what he is doing now... Already expecting another album like JIK hahaha
Everything about this song is perfect. His tone, the quotables, the legendary hook, that crazy production, the vocal sample, even the jeezy ad libs. This is one of hip hops truly flawless tracks. Thankful I got to witness this in my lifetime.
I don’t think I have ever connected with a verse as hard as I do with the opening verse on this track. My issues may not have been spending money on jewelry and clothes but that feeling of knowing what you need to do but doing the opposite resonates so hard
This is not someone being salty. This is someone breathing a sigh of relief. This music is modern expressionism. Even though it speaks of a complete baller, there is a philosophical humility about the artist that shines through. Still can't tell him nothing.
Its a song that motivates you to get your grind on. Thats how I feel I love it. Especially cuz I do speak with so much emphasis and fukn can't stand to be told shit and refuse to ask for help and fukn support myself completely.. it speaks to me lol
I see it as a struggle between religion and money. I think he was getting scrutiny for being flashy but he prob had a plan to get back to gospel which he has and was saying once he gets his money right he will show everyone he is still all about God. I don't know? That's how I interpret it
It’s about turning your back on god. During parts of the song, it’s as if the devil is speaking through Kanye. Pay attention to the visuals. The car spinning it’s wheels in the desert symbolizes his soul stuck on earth. The silhouette is the devil.
I will play this song in the mornings before i go into my machinery sales job, to get me in the mindset, and would have a multi-machine day, high volume week, and month.
This song literally drove my brother and me to build a business. Kanye really gave us the confidence to reach for our dreams. Hope you all can do the same.
This album takes me back to 6 grade when it came out. That year my dad bought me the iPod nano this album was one of my first one there. Still today Kanye is one of my favorite rappers
"Had a dream i could buy my way to heaven, when i awoke i spent that on a necklace"... yli always thought that was a wild thing to put into song. Words are powerful, especially when u put into song, into chant form. God listened n humbled him. Hell learn tho cos his eyes are open, we all make mistakes.
truth is tupac michael carrey the whole bunch pledged their souls to bafomet in exchange for fame & wealth. they got what they wanted then they wanted out??? why? jim carrey fed on the flesh of newborns. his career in hollywood was over the moment he said illuminutty on jimmy kimmel. kanye wont make another album to sell platinum. he bargained & now he lost.
Say what you will about Kanye but he is more talented than an entire generation of industry created artists and they know it. I root for him and all those who have been through something. Life comes atcha fast. Keep your eyes on the road ahead and both hands on the wheel.
I was born in 79 and these songs came out in my 20's. Ill give credit to the first four or five albums to Kanye, they are all amazing. Kanye also got me into Cudi.
I was just jamming this with my girl, and I told her the same damn thing!! 😀😃 KANYE KANYE. Billionaire rapper!! His lyrics are nuggets of wisdom, and I listen to every single one. Love this jam!!
