thee lyrics are way deeper and softer, no drake dissing, just fond memories and storytelling, the ye we all love! i just miss the outro, it’s so beautiful
I agree but still feel like he was talking about drake when he said, “my neighbour still dissing wonder why I ain’t saying it” cause the next line is “I can smell the set up that’s that Tupac in vegas shit”
This is the version Andre 3000 said he heard and the reason why he wanted to jump on this track. He had no idea that the drake diss was going to happen.
why lie? the track wasn't even released, he then was pushed to release it in the deluxe version of Donda because people wanted that song. he changed the lyrics because the diss wasn't supposed to be public, drake leaked.@@tallboiedd2846
@@ren_8181 yeezus and tlop are some of his best though. I believe that if Kanye didn't keep his state of constant innovation and change of sound he would be forgotten as any other good rapper like common or consequence that he rolls with. Still, I never overcame the fact that yandhi didn't come out :/
This is so reminiscent of the 2000s era of Kanye’s music videos. Nothing over the top, just simple story telling. All it needs is for it to be on 4:3 aspect ratio.
It's a double entendre. Rose Royce was an R&B group back in the 70's. Simple bar but you see how you interpreted it vs. all the listeners? That love you have for that line is what links us all through the speakers.
@@hensoakira it's not about what I think, although I appreciate that but vibrations, momentum, waves, frequency propels us all. We're all addicted, slaves to the rhythms of our choice. Even certain foods have a seduction that gravitates us to it. All forms follow function. However, what you chose to absorb for self will either sustain you or destroy you.
this song is beautiful. lately i’ve discovered an exponentially growing appreciation and love for kanye’s music. his genius production and heartfelt lyricism has consumed me. when i listen to his music, it flows through me and engulfs me in the story of kanye. ye’s best music is unfortunately behind closed doors, which is why i have such a great deal of respect for people who repost his lost music. i will be drifting off to sleep to this masterpiece tonight.
Who ever behind this account deserves all the blessings that the universe can bestow on a thousand men. 😭🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾This video exactly how I saw it in my head, its Ye memories
@@thephilosopher7173 the music video is not a leak but more like a throw away music video because this song was released on the donda album with a whole different official music video release using ai technology to lip sync to the song.
This of all the great music and videos Kanye’s holding on to. Also I love how this vid has a 2000s editing style (: it’s fitting for the song (: and just a throwback to Ye’s roots (:
@@trashyraccoon2615 not me, Idc what ye says or does cause I know some of the shit he says is a bunch of BS. For me, if he drops music, I'm all ears at the end of the day. He's still a goat in my eyes🔥
He’s really creative you can tell with his clothing and older/un released music but i feel like when he makes new albums he tries to get more people to listen so he limits his creativity if that makes sense? To get more people to listen
yeah, i feel like music has turned into that. consumable and digestable. while some others just naturally lack talent, some are stifled to cater to the mainstream. that's why you find the really poetic/overdone/sometimes corny rap on underground platforms. ykwim? i think kanye still does a great job of delivering quality though, this music is good, and it's even more special when we can delve into this more personal relationship, seeing artiste's initial conceptions of whatever piece it is and just appreciating it, and them, and whatever they've given us. ykwim? @@biIIybob858 it's chill
@@biIIybob858 He used to have less cooks in the kitchen with his music. He has a lot of people helping him out now. He's insanely talented, so in my opinion if he wants to use somebody else, that's fine. I ain't hating on that. I just don't like the finished product as much recently.
Jeez donda 2020 would have been something. Kanye seemed at the most peace he has been at in a while. I love what we got but this would have been an interesting album
It’s so crazy how it is 2010’s, 00’s and 90’s mixed. The effects on the pictures reminds me of those The Beatles Anthology videos made in 1995. People don’t like this because of the two styles but this is Kanye 100%. It really haves that MTV vibe to it.
How he goes through the effort of making this and not drop it is so crazy to me hahah. Some artists would sit on this and ponder for months. This dude just has it sitting in storage
For me it’s the fact that not only will he not drop it, he also doesn’t care that the songs leak and his fans have a TON of favorites by him that aren’t even out yet haha. I’ll never forget when he played 80 degrees aka Hurricane at the first Donda event and you heard a cheer of relief like “FINALLY” he’s releasing it
Andre 3000 really saved Drake from the real “Red Button”, after Andre heard Ye’s original Verse that was aimed at Drake and the whole UMG brand Andre told him to make a new verse or he wasn’t gonna do the song…
