If the world forgets a David Bowie or an Annie Lennox let me guarantee you the world will readily forget a Rihanna. Annie Lennox is the female David Bowie and that says a LOT coming from me, a black guy whos 29. Nobody will be covering Rihanna in 10 years. Look up the song "Sweet Dreams" or "Hear Comes the Rain Again"....those songs will be repeated forever even as they already are. Rihanna will never be on the oldies playlist(nor many folk who started music in the last 10 years) but she will be removed from the top 200 one day soon enough when shes not so young and thoroughly replaced by Person X. You probably dont have The Stylistics nor Prince on your playlist but take note of how the crowd respond to Prince and how it responded to Annie Lennox at the Grammy's(please watch it again if you can and tell me where else you see that response at the whole show). Theres youngsters who know Rihanna but dont know Michael Jackson music well nor Paul McCartney but let me assure you the bigger more impactful star wasnt Kanye nor Rihanna when Paul was playing with them(and Im not even a Paul fan). Rihanna will never be hotter than she has recently been let me assure you and her stardom spawns from her being a hot artist(hot as in getting mad airplay). Miley Cyrus has been and can be hot but she can never be LEGEND because she isnt a GREAT artist just by her success and sales and time testifies of that. We know 1 hit wonders but there is a new term brewing for the folk of the last 10 years whos hit songs so quickly get replaced with little replay value when the new sound comes. The Beatles are LEGEND...MJ is LEGEND and a GREAT artist even without reflecting on his sales. They might as well be demi-gods in comparison. Annie Lennox is on a platform a little lower than them and if you dont know you better ask somebody. Barry Gibb isnt a name you probably know but his contribution to music is far greater than most folk you know(just look up the Bee Gees). Even the stars have stars...you dont have to know who they are...music is more a greatness contest than it is the popularity contest kids have made it into. Drake sells better but he isnt and wont be greater than Jay Z until he is as impactful(but hes well on his way because of his production team...and this from someone who doesnt like him). Youve just read real talk.

***** Actually the quality and quantity of my life merits me to expend knowledge. Its funny how this VIP generation has so little substance and yet critiques and attempts to shame those who are intelligent. Case and point: your channel with clips of videos games and your comments of being a Rihanna fan versus my channels and my points of defending and caring about the preservation of good music. I not only mix music for a living but Im in the process of releasing music professionally myself. Dont hate on the passion and confuse me as being someone like you(a mere follower and commenter by choice). Yu too can get like me and the 10 minute videos of dialogue you might find yourself watching by actually having some of worth to say/share. Then you might find yourself with a channel like man(look up Jamlimited3) with mounds of information to bless mankind. Check the spirit of my commentary and peep the spirit behind yours...who is really lifeless? Id say the one with little to say who doesnt care either way....especially if they are a Rihanna fan. Get like me and we can change this crappy generation...or you can be another face in the film of Life whos name will NOT be in the end credits(because you chose to be nobody in so hoping to be like everybody else).
