Not much talent just sampling off a lot of artists. Good life taken from pyt by Michael Jackson and Izzo hova beat taken from jackson5 I want you back. Through the wire from chaka khan
@@reefbreaker9350 Bruh if your complaining about Kanye Sampling songs then you definitely don’t like almost 90% of hip hop. Sampling has always played a huge role in the Hip Hop industry, it’s just that Kanye’s a different breed compared to all rappers. I mean look at his discography, It’s literally one of the best ones a hip hop artist can have.
I heard this beat the first time on an instrumental CD at my friends house. I didn’t know who made it what it was called, I just knew I needed that beat. I paid him 10 bucks for that CD and I listened to it on repeat for months until the actual song came out. There are too many great beats in hip hop to have one greatest but it’s definitely in the conversation.
Tech Freak Before every teenager had fruity loops, if you wanted to rap and needed beats you went to your closest bootlegger and bought instrumental mixtapes.
@@erichawkins7305 you believe that shit? Maybe his jaw was broken at some point, but it wasn't broken when he sang this. Have you ever tried to communicate with someone with a broken jaw?
@@Optimism2K is it true because other people told you it was? Or is it true because you were there and seen it with your own eyes? People lie for no reason whatsoever, people lie a lot more for money. From what I've learned about Kanye over the years, is he's the kind of guy who'd cancel a show, if he stubbed his toe.
@@smuggledaudio6121 Oh my god you fucking gate keeper. You don’t have to be an “expert” retard. Let people listen to what they want to. Besides Kanye’s beats are better and full of life than most of those beats back in the 90’s. Because most of those guys didn’t know how to make a beat all that much
If I were Kanye and I were ever feeling down or sad about anything, I would put this instrumental on for while, sit around and listen. Just let my mind reflect on all the shit I’ve been through. Finding love, building a family, having friends, traveling the world, building a brand, becoming a Star, getting my Roc A Fella Chain, meeting Jay for the first time, selling my first beat. Think about being locked in that room working on these beats with no money to eat, hoping that this shit pays off later. Think about my mom and how much she loved me and supported my vision and what she and my dad went through and how life was for them and how things got to this point and where I will go from here and finding God again. Kanye West is one of the greatest artists of all time in any era, any genre. God bless him.
I feel like if he actually did that, he would be so peaceful to the point of resentment because of how well this strategy would work... you know he hard headed 🤣
Im originally from California and this takes me back to summer of 2004 when my neighborhood friends would come out and play, random trips to in n out or McDonald’s with my mom and little sister, the air was just a little crisper even my memories look warmer, life was lighter and I felt forever young…my uncle would take us all out and drive around the streets of Sac town! Shout out to the old 916! She will always be here in my memories!
_…and I still wont grow up, I'm a grown ass kid, swear I should be locked up for stupid shh that I did, but I'm a champion, so I turned tragedy to triumph, make music that's fire, spit my soul through the wire_ The greatest lyric of our time.
I had always heard awesome things about Kanye, I was never aloud to listen to him as a kid, but once I snuck a laptop in my closet and booted up this song, it no lie made me cry its THAT good. Kanye is a genius.
Through the fire, to the limit, to the wall For a chance to be with you, I'd gladly risk it all Through the fire, through whatever, come what may For a chance at loving you, I'd take it all the way Right down to the wire, even through the fire
no one realized that while kanye was an amazing producer before this, that was for other people. no one could have imagined how much harder he’d go on his own beats
Kanye has a VERY specific bounce in his beats. Its his signature, but we get so lost in the music you never notice it. Its purely good music end of day.
I can’t even fathom what the studio environment was like when Ye created this one. Arguably the greatest beat in hiphop history, it’s literally perfect. He’s truly a genius.
I miss the old Kanye, straight from the 'Go Kanye Chop up the soul Kanye, set on his goals Kanye I hate the new Kanye, the bad mood Kanye The always rude Kanye, spaz in the news Kanye I miss the sweet Kanye, chop up the beats Kanye I gotta to say at that time I'd like to meet Kanye See I invented Kanye, it wasn't any Kanyes And now I look and look around and there's so many Kanyes I used to love Kanye, I used to love Kanye I even had the pink polo, I thought I was Kanye What if Kanye made a song about Kanye Called "I Miss The Old Kanye, " man that would be so Kanye That's all it was Kanye, we still love Kanye And I love you like Kanye loves Kanye
One of the greatest beats in hip hop ever, top 5. Kanye is a top 10 artist, rapper, and producer. One of if not THE most talented musician we will ever see. This and the beat for Never Change that he made for Jay and Wouldn't Get Far and Dreams with the Game are my favorites EVER. Kanye...... Thank you.
I didn’t remember what clip it was but it was this clip of Kanye talking about samples and said something like “Hip Hop is just robbing we take old peoples shit and make it cool” he not wrong
