@@wsTGS who said that? .. but tbf... the OG version of the album he first released was the best.. then he "updated" the songs into oblivion... og version best version
@@ovuvuevuevueonyetenyevweug976brother he chopped everything on there. Listen to the leaked versions and you'll see how much worse they are And it's basically EVERY song too. The leaked versions are better
@@dalmav23 there is always a deeper reason to put placeholders. Plus he has the freedom of an independent artist to change around songs after release. Innovation takes time and patience
@@stevenburrito7032 it’s up there for sure. 2014 was the worst year. For rap anyway. Everyone, and I mean, everyone dropped in 2013 so the drought that followed was horrible
Tbh I find Kanye’s verses in this song a little jarring. I mean, I get it, it’s a hip hop song, but I feel like if it wasn’t vulgar, it could have been a great “love” song.
that’s what the tlop is about though, the personal struggle between his love of fame, money, and vulgarity vs his desire to be Godly and love his family life
@@parlay-music edited doesn’t mean a complete change from the original or leaked, could have used it from a leak but changed the music or added new things.
@@grady1370 i won't claim that he didn't do no wrong, ofcourse he did bro. But the reason i blame the industry too is because they made him reach this level, i mean we all know how dark and disgusting the industry is
@@CuttingGrass___ dawg this all Ye's fault He hasn't taken any of his bipolar medication for the past year or so and refuses to get in contact with medical professionals regarding his disorder Why do you refuse that this 44 year old grown man also has accountability
@@CuttingGrass___ I get your point but at the same time there’s hundreds of famous ppl with mental disorders that are able to handle it and not voice their hate for the Jewish community. Btw this is all coming from a huge Kanye fan, I just had to separate the art from the artist (and pretend vultures doesn’t exist 😭)
@@grady1370 i mean yh that's also true, but apart from him having mental disorders he's also egotistic, he doesn't like honest people that's why he's only surrounded by hypemen now. He expressed his hate because a lot of Jewish people on the industry hurt him, but the mistake he did was speaking on the verge of anger and generalising. I hope he finds peace again man and i also gotta pretend like vultures doesn't exist 😭
I like how all the music from vultures 1 has gotten ZERO recognition, and it's just there 😂 The music sounds so breakthrough and futuristic too, but it's just sitting there?
Decades of proud hedonism, drug abuse, and sexual immorality hypocritical to his proposed Christian ideology = Good Saying "I love everyone," and condoning a group of people who've been a genuine detriment to our society = Bad Ok, buddy. 🤓
this might be a fan edit but this is genuinely so beautiful. Waves is already a 10/10 song. I feel like the transition completely suits Kanye’s verse. This would have been top 3 Kanye😭. Waves is still peak tho. Beautiful shit man🥹
Man it hurts looking at how quick time went by. I would rather him just release his unreleased work and let us digest that for a couple of years. So he can actually take time to craft something more worth a wait. 🤷🏻♂️
@@theemilianob it’s more like there was tension made in the intro, the haunting vocals from post and the muddy chorus by theophilus along with the strobing motif, all to come together to a glorious resolution when ye starts his verse. It’s a whole experience and the song hasn’t even started yet. The desperation and what sounds like sorrow in post‘s vocals, stir something in me. Tbh I don’t know how much of this is Kanye and how much is the genius of the people he works with, but you still have to acknowledge it’s him who brought it all together. Tlop era of ye is unmatched.
where did you get this version of the intro, i've been looking for it everywhere. i've found other intros to waves but this one stands out. i know you most likely wont see this but if you have the link to another website that would be so helpful
This is an unpopular opinion in the mainstream but I like 2013 Yeezus through Donda 2021 Kanye more than 2004 College Dropout through 2011 Watch the Throne Kanye. Don’t get me wrong they’re both great but the 2013 through 2021 Kanye had more of a crazy but brilliant artist vibe that I found more interesting artistically and I think in the future as hip hop continues to evolve more people will start to think of it as his prime . Btw TLOP era is the peak for me.
