This theory is not true but interesting none the less. Yeezus was a quality album that definitely went against the grain on purpose but he didn’t assume everyone would eat it up. You should look into some of the RU-vid documentary’s on Yeezus to gain an understanding of this classic. I definitely think he rebelled against his past sound and there are elements of satire but this album expresses a lot of his frustrations with the fashion industry due to the lack of acceptance and belief. Daft Punk, Rick Rubin, Gessafelstein, Mike Dean (just to name a few) helped Kanye achieve a new fresh electronic/industrial sound that would go on to influence hip hop TO THIS DAY. Do not undermine the musicality and genius of this album my friend.
