Te Hura Kohatu o Sean Wainui
It’s been almost two and a half years since the untimely death of Māori All Black, Sean Wainui back in October, 2021.
Yesterday Sean’s immediate and extended whānau as well as many close friends gathered once again at Whatatutu, near Gisborne to unveil his beautiful headstone which was designed by his wife Paige.
Paige Wainui also sat down with Tūranga FM’s Mātai Smith to talk about how she and her kids have coped with the grief of losing Sean, what’s been her strength through this traumatic time and also the legacy he’s left behind for both his kids, whānau and many followers around the world.
