During the press conference when Kara finally told her she was Supergirl, Lena almost broke right there. She heard everything Kara said and her reasons made sense. But Lena being unable to forgive pushed passed it. She even worked with Lex because Kara lying to her hurt her worse than everything Lex had done. Let that sink in, Kara's lie hurt Lena more than all the things he family had done to her. Why is that? Why would the writers think we would believe that Lex was someone Lena was willing to work with but Kara's betrayal hurt her to bad to be around Kara? It's not because a "friend" betrayed her. The writers had to know that what they were implying was far stronger than a friendship.
By the way, I don't know why Lena didn't figure it out for herself. I mean Kara doesn't even bother disguising herself as Supergirl so naturally anyone who knows Kara should be able to tell she's Supergirl. The only difference is that she's not wearing her glasses, which makes no sense since everyone wears glasses and are still recognized so this doesn't explain anything
Alex mentioned things like that multiple times. I also think Alex's observing the looks between Lena and Kara in season 6 could be taken several ways. It could just be that Alex saw Lena being there for Kara in the same way she was and was feeling comfortable in letting Lena take her place in Kara's life while she moved on with her family. I took it more as Chyler feeding the Supercorp Fandom. I feel like Alex was seeing a romantic connection between 2 women who had no experience in how to handle it.
@virginiagonzales7106 True but Kara was wrong not to have told Lena. It's also hypocritical since she wasn't worried about any of her other friends being in danger knowing she's Supergirl, even telling James and Winn almost immediately when they were just average civilians like Lena. And even before Lena knew Kara was Supergirl, she helped the Superfriends many times with her intellect and showed some fighting moves taking down Eve and Mercy Graves, so she wasn't exactly defenseless even as a human. Had Lena known the truth all along, everything from seasons 2-4 would have happened the same way. So to sum it up, Kara was protecting Lena THE WRONG WAY!!!
The "they grew up in the same house" argument is so frickin stupid. Abusive families exist and holy frick they couldn't have written James's character any more annoying 🙄
You're right it is a love story and they are connected to each other plus they both are adopted nobody cannot deny that this is a love story about two beautiful women 🤩 who share common interest and they just love and like the hell out of each other oh man season 7 could have saved us and they would have been more intimately I believe it close and I believe they would have found them in an apartment and moved in together revolves around each other.
@@movg1550 look the only reason people tune into super Supergirl every week was about Melissa and Katie that's just the bottom line and it's awesome chemistry connection that's the only reason
